Cute Christmas Looks for Boys

Oh yes.  It’s that time of year again…….time for Christmas pictures.  I was especially excited this year since it will be Little Bud’s first Christmas.  My head was swimming with dreams of my little cutie all dolled up in his finest, adorned in a tiny Santa suit.  I got so pumped up by the thought that I had an epiphany.  Why not ask Little Bud’s new baby girl cousin (C) to get in on the action?  The only thing better than a picture of a chubby darling is a picture of 2!

My naïve mind was in awe at the thought of them holding hands and grinning wildly at the camera.  What an excellent gift those would make for the family!  So I went about booking our photo shoot with a great photographer and clearing it with the other mommy.  Everything was merrily cruising along until the time came for use to coordinate their outfits.

C’s mom sent me an email showcasing her impressive lineup of Christmas attire.  How was it already 2 full months before the holidays and C’s mom had already amassed a collection of 11 festive outfits?  I was completely astonished as the multitude of bows, frills, and lace.

Naturally, not wanting Little Bud to be outdone, I went on the hunt for the perfect look.  I traveled to and fro throughout all of the stores in my area with no luck.  Sure, there were racks upon racks of darling dresses and patent leather mary janes, but where were all of the outfits for boys?!?!  Had all of the retailers forgotten that boys need to look cute too?  Wanting something a little nice then a “Baby’s First Christmas” sleeper, I jumped on the internet to check out my options.

After an exhaustive search, I finally settled on the perfect look.  If you are having the same problem, check out my list for top Christmas looks for boys!  Hopefully this will save other mom’s the headache that I got!

A traditional holiday look for those moms and dads who cringe at the thought of red velvet and fake reindeer antlers.  This one is sure the please!

My favorite for my son at that age was a smocked jon jon. Look on best dressed child and you will find a ton of them. Mine is a huge 3 yr old now so he no longer looks cute in them. :O( I really miss those outfits. You can also match them with the little girls’ dresses.

Ugh! I had the worse time buying an outfit for Santa pics. I found an adorable outfit at Carters that was Santa’s little helper theme and very festive, but I wanted something more dressy, to match his comb over hairstyle haha. However, this proved impossible for under 6 months. I ended up settling for a onesie with pained on suspenders and black pants from another outfit from Carters. Needless to say I was not pleased. I was hoping for an argyle sweater and some khakis, but no go. He still looked adorable, but I have to admit I was exhausted after checking 2 malls and only finding racks upon racks of baby taffeta dresses!
