Adios! We are headed to Mexico.

Club Med Ixtapa Pacific

We have covered some great family-friendly resorts this summer and Baby Gizmo Travel isn’t stopping there! We don’t want to brag but we will soon be headed south of the border to the #1 Hotel for Families in Mexico. Not only did TripAdvisor rate this resort #1 in Mexico but #12 for families in the world!  Holy cow!  That is huge! How can I not be excited to visit this place?!?

Where are we going, you ask? Club Med, baby! Yep, we are headed to Club Med Ixtapa Pacific! Oh, the places we go for you! To bring you all the details and behind the scenes scoop of great family friendly vacation options, we’ll just suck it up and do it. ;) Hard job, isn’t it?!

Club Med

Here is the description of this Club Med resort:

Discover the wonders of Mexico during your stay at Ixtapa Pacific. A heavenly Mexican hacienda-style all-inclusive family resort nestled between the Sierra Madre mountains and the shores of thePacific Ocean. A hassle-free stay for you, an adventure for your kids: practice your favorite sports, indulge at the Spa* or relax on a lounge chair by the beach while your children are entertained at Club Med world-famous Children’s Clubs.

Did you catch that?! “World-famous Children’s Clubs”! Yahoo! A place that caters to families! Plus, this isn’t like a cruise or other resorts that only welcome kids 3 or 4 and up into their kids’ club. Club Med Ixtapa Pacific welcomes 4 MONTHS and up! (Whether you’d leave your baby is besides the point. I just wanted to tell you it’s an option.)

The award-winning children’s programs are designed to provide educational activities for children from four months to seventeen years, keeping them happily active with playgrounds, a water splash park and kid-sized restaurant, La Sirena. Qualified staff allow parents to relax and enjoy themselves knowing their little ones are well looked after.

Baby and Petite Club Med provides indoor and outdoor age appropriate programs for children up to three years old, while activities for kids from four to 17 include everything from creative games and Zumbatomic to circus school and cooking class where they learn how to create local dishes. Kids are invited to enjoy the Pyjama Club at night, allowing parents to enjoy in a romantic dinner for two as well as the evenings entertainment.

Club Med

This is just the tip of the iceberg for this resort, I’m sure! I can’t wait to bring you all the details. Keep an eye on us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram (@babygizmoguru) and Pinterest for on-location updates.

My family is going to Club Med in February! Will we need to take a week’s worth of diapers for both kids? EEK! I’m hoping you’ll say that the store has boxes and boxes, so purchasing them there will not be a problem!
Also, do they have strollers (LOTS and LOTS of them) or should we bring one? What about crib sheets? Thank you so much for this website!
