| Full Review: The Easy Care Swing Tray Booster is an inexpensive alternative to the more expensive and large high chairs. This booster attaches easily to your kitchen chairs and is a breeze to set up – simply attach the back (which is nice and high giving your child plenty of back and neck support), the tray and buckle the chair to your kitchen chair and you’re done. The Easy Care Swing Tray Booster is lightweight making it a versatile booster for weekend or day travels. The tray can easily be removed and used as a booster as your child advances to table sitting. When used as a booster there are three different options for height settings. We like this because it allows our daughter to sit at several different tables at an appropriate level. This booster, as the names states, features a swing tray that allows you to move your child in and out easily. The tray contains a small cup holder and is dishwasher safe. These are nice features but… we have found that the tray is entirely too small. When we transitioned our daughter to using plates and bowls we were no longer able to use the tray as the plate would not fit on the tray. Because our daughter was ready to join the family at the table, we simply removed the tray and loved her company at the table. One important aspect to note about the chair is that the back of the chair is easily “popped” off. If your child has an active, spunky streak, this may serve as an annoyance to you. When our daughter would get excited and throw her body weight back it would pop the back of the chair off. This was easily fixed as we just popped it back in – and once the novelty wore off our daughter became less amused with it and stopped herself. The bottom line in this case is – you get what you pay for. The booster is functional as a booster but we find that as your child advances to plate and bowl eating, the tray is much too small. | ||
