Inglesina Aptica Stroller Review

Sharing is caring!

Inglesina is at it again…   Debuting gorgeous, practical strollers that we wish we had sooner! Inglesina just launched the Aptica stroller and Bassinet and we think you need to know about it.

Inglesina Aptica

INGLESINA APTICA SEAT

The Aptica is a made-in-Italy, luxury full size stroller that is packed with features for both baby and parent. The stroller is recommended for newborns up to 55lbs. The roomy seat measures 12 1/2″ wide and has a 20″ seat back and a measurement from back of seat to top of canopy of 23″.

The seat is reversible so that your little rider can face parent or out at the world. The seat sports an adjustable, padded, 5-point harness for safety and an adjustable foot rest for comfort. We love that the swing-away (and removable) baby bumper bar is covered with a durable fabric instead of foam.

HANDLE BAR

The faux leather, telescoping handlebar is fantastic for both shorter and taller parents. It adjusts to 4 positions from 38″ to 43″ from ground to handle. The canopy is absolutely huge – one of the biggest on the market!

CANOPY

The two panel canopy features an additional pop-out sun visor and 3rd panel that unzips to give your baby complete coverage even when fully reclined. The mesh peek-a-boo window on the back panel of the canopy is not only great for keeping an eye on your little rider but also allows air to circulate through the stroller seat.

STROLLER BASKET

We love big baskets and we cannot lie. The Inglesina Aptica doesn’t disappoint in this area either. It is accessible on all sides and can accommodate at least 2 large diaper bags or a boatload of baby essentials. Plus, there is a zipper compartment at the back of the basket to store things out of sight.

WHEELS

The Aptica rolls on 10″ rear and 7 1/2″ front no-flat, shock-absorbing wheels. The one-step brake is flip-flop friendly and very easy to engage.

MANEUVERABILITY

The stroller has fantastic maneuverability and can tackle all types of mom terrain such as grass, playground mulch and gravel. You can fold the stroller with the seat parent-facing or facing out and can all be done with one hand. It has a standing fold that keeps the handlebar off the ground to keep your hands clean and your stroller looking fabulous.

TRAVEL SYSTEM

The Inglesina Aptica also transforms to a travel system with the car seat adapters for a Maxi Cosi (Mico 30, Mico Max), Cybex (Aton, Aton 2, Aton Q, Cloud Q) and a Nuna (Pipa, Pipa Lite).

If a pram is your thing, the Aptica can do that too with the Aptica Bassinet (sold separately).

Aptica Bassinet

APTICA BASSINET

The Aptica bassinet comes with a bassinet stand that makes using the bassinet in your home super easy and convenient. This big bassinet is equipped with a ventilation control system, to regulate the flow of air and temperature.

The mesh insert on the hood allows air to flow inside to keep the environment cool and well ventilated. The mesh insert at the front of the bassinet allows air to flow inside to keep the environment cool and well ventilated. The hood features an anti-UV (UPF50) treated fabric with sun visor for shielding against direct sunlight even when the sun is low on the horizon.

Its cover is made of double panels, to protect the baby from the wind and cold. A “quick-access” apron is there to place your newborn easily into the bassinet without having to detach the apron first. The bassinet mattress is made of medium density foam with 40 holes for ventilation, spread uniformly.

The part in contact with your baby is covered with bamboo fiber, which is highly breathable, hypoallergenic and anti-bacterial. A 3D mesh is applied to the base to improve air circulation and prevent the build-up of humidity.

The Aptica also comes with a rain cover and cup holder, which as moms, we can certainly appreciate!
