| Full Review: OK I'll start with the good since there are so few things that are positive: Color: bc I can find it anywhere Tires: sturdy, stay filled with air, don't break down, swivel or lockable front wheel Shocks: great for running although it is "bouncy" as my kids say and sometimes it makes them rambunctious Lock: the wheel lock is easy to use with even sandals Basket: it is good and bad. It is large across but not deep so things tend to fall out of it unless it is packed to the brim bc they move around Weave pockets: inside the kids seats are pockets for drinks and snacks. would be great except that the seat is so narrow they cant fit anything into them without being impaled. The ones on the back of the seats are great storage for parents Cons: The canopies: although large and cover a big area they are so low and not adjustable. My 4 yr old is TINY and her head hits. My older daughter has to sit slumped. great for younger kids but once they can touch then they are bad bc they do not want to be covered and the seats are not really for young kids...so its a catch 22 almost. Having an awesome canopy is great if the seat can accommodate the age of the child. Seats: although new style, more padding, they are very narrow. My kids are slender and have a hard time sitting in them with no room for movement. They also are not very sturdy. My old P&T were kept in upright with zippers. these are pull tabs which are difficult when the seat is empty and IMPOSSIBLE with child in seat. I also tried with my friends 1 yr old...They never sit all the way up. There is not a bar in between seats so they tend to sag into the middle which makes the canopies collide and nearly impossible to keep both open at once. The belts are easy to adjust but the between leg belt is so short that for bigger kids it is early impossible to clasp. My 23 lb 4 yr old was crying that her privates hurt from it...she was also very red. So now I can't use it to run bc I can't strap them in. Folding: it is a three step process to fold, lock and pick up the stroller. It is awkward, time consuming and takes up my entire SUV trunk. My Phil and Ted was very easy and could do in seconds. Also I could put it in trunk and load a weeks worth of groceries. Unfolding isn't too terrible once you figure out how to snap it open. I am a larger woman and had to try a few times. My 5'3 sister can not open it at all. Wheel: The front wheel does not fold down so getting it into a sedan (or any car not an a hatchback or suv) is impossible. My parents have a cadillac that I can fit into the trunk and the stroller will not fit. Price: for what it is....flimsy, cheaply made, hard to use the price is exorbitant. I did a ton of research and based on THIS SITE I bought this $600 POS stroller and regret it every single day. I wish I had my old Phil and Ted Sport stroller back (it was stolen). The newer version does not work with weight requirements. | ||
