| Good enough by peccavi1 from El Cajon, CA | Mom Rating:![]() | |
| Best: It's blades are small enough to use on a preemie, cuts newborn rubbery nails and older infants nails | ||
| Worst: Handle is small and slips out of adults hands. | ||
| Full Review: We got this clipper when the electric nail file didn't work for use when our baby came home at 4.5 lbs. It seemed small enough for her tiny fingers. Now that she's nine months old, we are finding that it continues to work now that her nails are stronger and less rubbery and flexible. The only complaint I have is that because the handle is so small and closes easily, it it tough to hold on to while cutting the nails f a very wiggly baby. Unless I have help from dad, or she's really drowsy, I can't easily clip my baby's nails, when when super long. I don't trim them nearly often enough because it is very time consuming trying to grip the clipper and hold on to baby. | ||

| Best: Clip very well! | ||
| Worst: Shape of the handle. | ||
| Full Review: This is a great brand and the clippers cut well but the handle needs improvement. It's too small and slim and it's slippery. I don't see the point of this handle. Safety 1st does make another pair with a larger handle and those are by far my favourite. | ||
