Full Review: We bought this car seat just before our son turned 1 and outgrew his SnugRide (another product I recommend). Our Evenflo is a different color pattern (Hamilton), which we think looks very sleek and the materials are soft and comfortable on your skin. Our son is very tall (95 percentile) so we were looking for a car seat with a broad seat area to fit his legs, and many didn't fit the bill, particularly Recaros. We compared this to a number of Britax seats, and came away with this one for a number of reasons: 1) It was less expensive. 2.) The seat base was longer for taller babies. 3.) The materials felt more comfortable to me. Some of the Britax seat upholstery was a little scratchy. 4.) This one can be converted to a booster seat by taking off the base and running a standard seatbelt across, which is nice (saves more of that sweet sweet cash). 5.) Better looking (I thought, your opinions may vary). Some Things I Like: 1.) The height adjusts upwards for when your baby grows taller. 2.) The 'Infinite Harness' or whatever they call it makes it easy to change the height level of the shoulder straps, just slide up and down with both hands without having to rethread the straps. 3.) The LATCH connecters are so easy, they just snap right on and come of with little triggers. VERY easy to move to a different car (except the thing is so blasted big, but really they all are. Have you seen the Advocate? That thing is a monster). 4.) The harness adjusts from the bottom. When you pull on the tether to tighten after they are buckled in, instead of pull tight from the shoulder straps which most seats do (sometimes scrunching their shoulders), it pulls tight from down by their hips, which locks them in but doesn't pull down on their shoulders. This looks much more comfortable for baby. The only thing I don't like is that it seems to have a lot of crevices from which snacks go in, but never come out (tip, get a Dustbuster). Also, other parents judge you when you tell them you don't have a Britax.
