5 beauty products that make you look like you slept in

I never get enough sleep. How about you? Although my kids are finally going to bed at an appropriate hour, I’m not. The silence and solitude are luxurious. I spend it catching up on crappy TV, reading books, or messing around on Pinterest. You name it and I’m doing it when I should be sleeping.

I pay for it the next day and it shows all over my face. Thankfully there are some near miracle products that help me fake it and not look like a crazed woman who was up till midnight catching up on Real Housewives of Wherever.

Clinique All About Eyes

This product has been in my arsenal since I was in my early twenties and enjoying too many Stoli & Sprite lubricated evenings out about the town. It works. It isn’t heavy or greasy. The skin around the eyes is super sensitive and this eye cream is non-irritating. Try it and see if it makes a difference on your dark circles and early morning puffy eyes.

Yves Saint Laurent Radiant Touch Touche Eclat

This product is not cheap but it’s worth it. A little goes a long way. I gave it a try after seeing it on yet another top beauty products of the year list. It’s an amazing eye brightener and the lightweight formula makes it perfect for on the go touch-ups.

Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler

Once you try this eyelash curler you’ll never go back to a drugstore brand. I promise you. I’ve converted so many friends from their old forgotten eyelash curlers to this bad boy. The angle of this eyelash curler is just right for making your lashes look amazing.
The foam pad is gentle too so it won’t tug on the sensitive eye area. Big, huge, and fat eyelashes are a great way to look bright-eyed and bushy-tailed even though you’re counting down the minutes to nap time.

Trish McEvoy Concealer

I’m so loyal to Trish McEvoy you’d think I was a relative. This full coverage concealer can hide the “I’ve been up all night with a teething baby” look right off your face. I swear. The coverage is incredible but it doesn’t feel like you’re wearing caked on makeup.

Maybelline Volum’ Express The Falsies

This mascara is not only a steal but it’s super effective. It does make you look like you’re wearing gorgeous false lashes but without giving you that crazed spider in your eye droopy eyelash strip look. Use it alone, with your favorite products, or with everything above and no one will know just how tired you are.

Go shopping for some new beauty products and then take a nap.
