Like many of the smart phones, simply touch the screen to control the monitor’s pan, scan, zoom and brightness features. Two other great aspects include a stylish, magnetic docking station for the handheld unit and a wireless, rechargeable battery-powered dock for the camera. Yep, we are using Rafflecopter for the 12 Days of Christmas! It’s just too easy not to! A blog comment is the only mandatory entry! Baby Gizmo friends don’t just stick with “mandatory” though, right? We are overachievers! So, there are additional (optional) entries you can get. You will notice that some of the entry methods are worth more than others. For example, “Post on a Message Board” has a “(+5)” next to it. That means it is worth FIVE entries for just doing that! But let us warn you – make sure you actually do the entries! If you click on “leave a blog comment” on the Rafflecopter widget – make sure you actually leave a blog comment. We check! If you don’t do the actual entry – it doesn’t count! You won’t win. We’ll both be sad.

*You can only do each entry method ONCE! Please do not cheat and enter more than that! We will know and we will catch you! We are always watching. (“Winners never cheat and cheaters never win”, you know!) Giveaway STARTS at 12:01am EST on December 3 and ends 24 hours later at 12:01am EST December 4, 2011. (Sorry, US residents only on this day, folks!)

  1. That looks nice 2 have. U can just look at the baby on the monitor and still do your house work. Instead have 2 stop and check on the baby every 5 min.

  2. As a new mom, I survive largely because our video monitor enables me to check, double-check, triple-check, etc… on our daughter, until I’ve finally relaxed enough to sleep. I’m neurotic, but my Summer Infant monitor keeps me sane. I WISH we had this one so we could talk to her when we’re scrambling to get her a bottle!

  3. I LOVE that this is a handheld wireless unit. I would be able to be running around with the other kidlets and still keep an eye on the the littlest one. Perfection!

  4. well i have 2 favorite features actually the fact that it’s WIRELESS and that it is video instead of just sound =-) LOVE both of those features making this a GREAT monitor. =-)

  5. I like that yoy have tge ability to hear and see…because it’s not always the noises that let yoy know the baby needa attention.

  6. Love the video screen, woukd be so very awesome to see that everthing is ok with the new baby while taking care of my 16 month old!

  7. I think I just love the fact that I can keep an eye on baby without interruption. We can not use normal monitors due to heavy traffic on the road there is always some sort of interruption. Well with this monitor that would not be an issue!

  8. I need this bad, we have a baby with acid reflux and this would be such peace of mind for me when im not in the room when he is sleeping.

  9. It would be nice to be able to check on your baby in the middle of the night by just looking at a screen. I wouldn’t have to seem paranoid getting up every 5 minutes to check on my baby!

  10. I love the ability to talk back – not sure if it would help my baby or freak them out though – would love to have the chance to experiment and find out.

  11. Toddlers would be so much easier to monitor with a video – you know when they are just playing quietly and when they are destroying something, without disturbing them.

  12. I love the video monitor. I love that it is cordless although it had other great features, that was one of my favorites.

  13. We were just approved for a new house today! This would be a great addition since it’s bigger than what we have now and I won’t be able to hear them at night like I can now with just having bedroom doors open.

  14. Just love the monitor! Being able to see him is much nicer than by ear. I freak out with every sound he makes at night. This would help so much!

  15. This would be awesome. We just have an audio monitor and it would be great to be able to see the baby without risking a squeaky door waking her up!

  16. I love that you can move the view. I have twins, so this would be perfect so I can see the both of them at once. We LOVE the Summer brand. We currently have an older model, but it does not have the talk back feature, and the battery wont hold a charge anymore.

  17. My favorite feature of a video monitor is that I can flick the screen on and instantly know what is going on. And if my daughter is not standing up, I know she may just go back to sleep.

  18. Love that I can see baby without waking her up to check on her, and later on when she’s mobile I can move the camera to see what she’s up to in her room.

  19. My favorite feature is that as first time parents, we can see the baby while she’s sleeping to ease our fears – without opening the door to check on her and waking her up!

  20. this would be nice to have so that i can check on my little one so they won’t get woken up when i go in the room to check on them!

  21. I would love to be able to check on my lil one from any other room when we hear those noises but not that she seems to be really awake.

  22. My favorite feature is the wireless rechargeable battery-powered dock for the camera !!!
Would be awesome for bringing along to the grandparents’ or friends’ house where baby takes a nap.

  23. Would love this, especially with the camera, it would set me and my husband at ease. I would love to win as we don’t have a monitor yet and baby is due in less than 3 months!

  24. Having the peace of mind to go to sleep in your own bed with your loved one knowing that your baby is safe and secure in his or her own space! Monitors allow u to quickly check on baby without having to disturb them by tip toeing in the room with the fear of God instilled in you so you won’t accidentally wake them up!

  25. I love being able to actually see the baby during the night. I will have to go back to work soon after the baby so I want him/her transitioned into their nursery relatively soon. This will give some serious peace of mind.

  26. Would love to be able to see my new baby when ever my nervous new mommy instincts tell me I need to check on her! without getting up 50 times in one night.

  27. It would be great to have a video monitor. I love that we would be able to see what is going on and not just hear noises (or quiet). The ability to speak to the child through the monitor would also come in handy.

  28. I’d love to be able to see my little guy. He’s at a stage now where he’s rolling in is sleep and scooting so i’d love to be able to see if I really need to go in or not.

  29. I would love to win this monitor. It would be great to be able to see what the baby is doing without going in the room.

  30. We have never owned a video monitor and I think it would be amazing to actually be able to SEE your little one. So much more reassuring than wondering at every little sigh and snort.

  31. My favorite feature about the Summer Infant monitor is the talk back function. You can comfort your baby back to sleep without being in the room.

  32. I have one for my 1yr old and need another one for baby #2 that is on the way. Would love to win this, it’s the best monitor I think!

  33. I love that I can SEE with this! Such a change from what we have been using. That in itself will be my favorite thing. Oh I would LOVE to win 😉

  34. Being able to visibly see exactly what is going on without rushing into the room at break neck speeds to SEE what’s going based on sounds is my favorite feature of a video monitor.

  35. My favorite feature of a video monitor is the security it gives you that your little one is okay. This video monitor has a clear picture and I feel I could rely on it.

  36. My favorite feature is that it has VIDEO! I’ve always had the cheap one monitors that crackle and make weird noise and well are cheap! This is awesome!

  37. We didn’t get a video monitor with our 1st child, and I definitely regret it! I can’t tell you the number of times we caused naptime to end early because we couldn’t tell if the squeaks/whimpers meant our infant was really awake (of course our going in there woke her!) Now that child #2 is on the way, we would love to upgrade our monitor!!

  38. i like the idea of being able to actually keep an eye for my baby by being able to see them from another room without disturbing him or her

  39. I love being able to watch my baby from another room. It makes it really easy especially when you are also dealing with a toddler.

  40. I would love this monitor, I think it is neat that you can move the screen from the min unit, my current summer monitor doesn’t move or zoom.

  41. I love the detail that you can see the child and also the color on the top to tell how loud your child is without having the volume turned all the way up!

  42. My son fusses in his sleep, and I can’t tell you how nice it would be to just look in the monitor instead of getting out of bed.

  43. Love the video feature. My new baby will be sharing a room with her 2.5 year old sister in February and it would be nice to keep an eye on them and make sure my 2 year old doesn’t mess with baby sister.

  44. I love that you can talk to your baby through the monitor!! We had a lower-end version of this monitor with our first and we loved being able to see if he really needed us or he was just moving around. Unfortunately, my husband broke our monitor. We would love to have this one for our newest arrival due in just 6 weeks!!

  45. I LOVE that you can actually talk to your baby through the monitor!!! Thats amazing! That way if I’m going to the bathroom ( I know, maybe that was too much information) I can tell my daughter that I will be right there if she starts to cry. ;D

  46. My favorite feature is just being able to see my little guy sleeping! As a new mom my biggest fear is something happening to him when sleeping. Plus it’s always fun to watch his cute little face 🙂

  47. I LOVE the pan and zoom option (my girls share a room, so would be nice to be able to see both)! And the talkback feature could really come in handy to let me daughter know I am on the way to get her (or to tell the my older daughter to get back in her bed!)

  48. That you can actually see what the cause of any given noise is instead of going crazy wondering if that was a grunt or baby can’t breathe. And color is an added bonus!

  49. Have a two week old and still need a monitor for when she moves to her room! Would lOve a video monitor to check on her visually.

  50. My favorite part is that I’d be able to close the door when my 6 month old is sleeping, therefore keeping my 22 month old and five year old from waking her, BUT I can still see when she wakes up! It would be SO MUCH EASIER to get things done!

  51. My favorite feature is that you can actually “see” , a HUGE comfort factor for a Mommy, especially in a split level home during nap time!

  52. My favorite feature is that you can talk through the monitor. I think my daughter would feel comforted if she heard my voice… or at least I hope she would!

  53. I love everything about the BabyTouch Color Video Monitor, but I really like how you can talk back to the baby!!! So perfect for a new mommy to be

  54. The monitor scan and talk back feature is exactly what my last two Summer monitors were lacking that this one has. Really awesome to see they’ve improved them. Would love to try this one out!

  55. Omg! I so desperately need one of these. My son is 16 months old & has recently started refusing his crib. I was thinking about putting him in a toddler bed. Having a video monitor would ease my mind so much about him being in a big boy bed. I have baby #2 on the way and they will be sharing their room so this is definitely high on my wants list. 🙂 I love the peace of mind a video monitor provides! The fact that it’s touch screen is just icing on the cake!

  56. i love that it takes something we need(baby monitor) and makes it into a fun gadget, and being able to peek in on the kids without having to sneak in and out of their rooms is great

  57. I really like the fact that you can talk to your baby. I always thought monitors were one way (we don’t have one and with a teething baby its been hard…)

  58. A video monitor would calm my heart when my babies have slept longer than normal….I always have to creep in to ‘make sure they are still breathing’ just to give me piece of mind. So a video monitor where you could see their chest go up and down would be great. I could stare at it all day! 🙂 And I love the feature of being able to talk to baby through it. Way easier than getting out of bed to calm baby down with my voice…with this, I could just talk through the camera. COOL!

  59. I have wanted one of these ever since I saw them!! I would love to be able to see my little one if she is stirring to see if I need to go in and get her or just let her settle herslef back to sleep.

  60. I want this SOOOO badly and just can’t foot the bill right now! We are expecting our second in Feb. and have a 2year old so I need a monitor that will cover 2 rooms! I really wish I’d gotten a video one for my son, it would have helped me sleep better at night!! Obviously my favorite feature is covering two rooms!!

  61. I love that you can see baby when you hear them start to cry. Lets you know whether they really need you or may go back to sleep (one can only hope)!

  62. My fav feature is that me & my hubby will be able to rest a little easier that we can keep an eye on our toddler & baby being in the same room.
