Baby Gizmo 12 Days of Christmas Giveaway Extravaganza Day 7

 Congratulations to our winners –

Melissa Easton & Denise Beady

On the 7th day of Christmas Baby Gizmo gave to me (and another person!)…

A phil&teds metro carrier AND a lobster!

That’s right!  We are picking TWO winners today and they are each winning a phil&teds metro carrier AND a lobster!

lobster– This clip-on chair brings the whole family together at the table for the holidays- at home or on the go! The phil&teds lobster is an easy-to-clean, travel-friendly, sturdy clip-on chair that is great for restaurants especially for moms who are concerned about the germ-covered restaurant highchairs. We also take our along to grandma’s house on every visit! You could also use it as a space saving alternative to buying a full size high chair at home. If you are looking for a great clip-on chair, no need to look any further than the new phil&teds lobster chair!

metro carrier– Sometimes you just need to be hands-free for holiday shopping! The metro carrier is in the featherlight category weighing in at a light 5.5 lbs so it doesn’t add to the weight on your back.  It’s compact for easy transport and sports loads of room for the urban necessities and shopping essentials!

Yep, we are using Rafflecopter for the 12 Days of Christmas! It’s just too easy not to! A blog comment is the only mandatory entry! Baby Gizmo friends don’t just stick with “mandatory” though, right? We are overachievers! So, there are additional (optional) entries you can get. You will notice that some of the entry methods are worth more than others. For example, “Post on a Message Board” has a “(+5)” next to it. That means it is worth FIVE entries for just doing that! But let us warn you – make sure you actually do the entries! If you click on “leave a blog comment” on the Rafflecopter widget – make sure you actually leave a blog comment. We check! If you don’t do the actual entry – it doesn’t count! You won’t win. We’ll both be sad.

*You can only do each entry method ONCE! Please do not cheat and enter more than that! We will know and we will catch you! We are always watching. (“Winners never cheat and cheaters never win”, you know!) Giveaway STARTS at 12:01am EST on December 7 and ends 24 hours later at 12:01am EST December 8, 2011. (Sorry, US residents only on this day, folks!)

  1. Being a single mother and living in a small apartment both prizes would be great. The carrier cause it’s really hard to get much of anything done and the chair cause i have no room for a high chair.

  2. Phil and Ted have amazing products! The lobster is the best portable high chair ive researched and it would be amazing to win for my 5 month old!

  3. Love the clip on high chair– saves so much room in a small dining room and allows the child to be part of the dinner activity! And the carrier looks very comfortable, like that it’s lightweight!

  4. We would use the lobster every thing we go out to eat and use the metro each and every day to carry all of the baby and our stuff.

  5. We would take them everywhere we go! We are out and about A LOT and they would come in so handy. I love the idea of the Lobster and not having to use the restaurant high chairs that are so gross!! It would also be great to take to Grandma’s since we are there a lot. Baby boy would love the carrier for our shopping trips!

  6. We would take it everywhere. We have a toddler and this would come in handy for trips to AZ and for hiking and just around the neighborhood. Thank you!

  7. We would take them everywhere! We have a toddler boy that still likes to be carried, and an infant girl who will soon be needing to sit in a highchair when we’re out ‘n about. Perfect prizes! 🙂

  8. I would attach it to my own counter and eliminate the need for a high chair. As the boys on Stepbrothers would say, “think of all the activities we could do!” (clearly it’s been a long day) This would be great for restaurants, too. But, seriously, for the island would be amazing.

  9. I would take both of those awesome products with me EVERYWHERE!!!! I love how handy they both are. I am especially in love with the Lobster! Can’t wait to get one of my own!!!!

  10. Would love to take this to the three sets of inlaws houses over the holidays!!! (the carrier would be great for that after christmas shopping!)

  11. i would use the Lobster when we go out to eat, and also at home. With 3 little people (going to be 4 in March) the separate high chair is getting a little bit in the way!

  12. I would use the Lobster at home on my dining room table and take it to restaurants and my in-law’s house. I’d use the Metro Carrier at the mall, on hikes and at the grocery store.

  13. We would use the Metro Carrier for our frequent trips to the zoo. We would use the Lobster for restaurants and visits to Grandma & Grandpa’s house.

  14. My friend has the lobster and it’s really handy and you don’t have to use the restaurants seats which are not usually very clean

  15. Oh the Lobster would be perfect for when we eat out (which, admittedly, is WAY too often) and the Metro carrier would be ideal for taking my son on the subway, since I never know which station is stroller-accessible!

  16. I would like to take these on my next vacation to Colorado Springs. I could use the carrier to take the baby inside the caves and to see all of the sites. We would use the lobster at all the dine-ins there and along the way.

  17. Both the Lobster Chair and the baby carrier would be GREAT to have when we go up to Mt Hood to visit my grandparents-in-law this winter!!

  18. I would take them everywhere! I always wear my little one and the metro carrier would be great for all those crowded places that it’s hard to maneuver a stroller through. The lobster would be wonderful at restaurants to avoid those nasty high chairs!

  19. We would take the metro carrier and lobster wherever we go. Both mine and my husband’s families live out of state. The carrier and lobster are both small and easy to take with! Love it!

  20. I live in a walking area- 4 blocks from the main drag, so I would take the carrier EVERYWHERE! Grocery store, dog walks, shopping, all of it! I would probably use the chair as a substitute for a real highchair- our house is tiny and it would be a wonderful spacesaver!!

  21. We need the clipon chair – the cheap-0 one we bought for baby # 1 didn’t survive. We used it everywhere. The carrier would be great too – lightweight is key since my boys are B I G!

  22. I would take it anywhere my family and i travel!! out to dinner, home to see family, out to eat at a friend house..anywhere!

  23. I’d like to take my metro carrier and lobster to my parents house if I won. We usually go for long walks so the carrier would be great, and they don’t have a high chair so the lobster would come in handy.

  24. Saw the giveaway on facebook!
High chairs never work for us when we go out to eat so we stopped going out to eat!
Would love to try the lobster!

  25. I’d love to take the metro carrier on a walk on the boardwalk with my family and the lobster would be great for eating out in restaurants (I hate restaurant high chairs!)

  26. The carrier would be my go to for keeping my little guy close when shopping and the lobster would be great for visit to grandmas (who for some reason with 8 grandchildren – does not own a highchair)

  27. the carrier would be great for every day use, shopping, and trips 🙂 the lobster would be great for restaurants and visits to friends and family’s houses

  28. I’d love to take the carrier shopping! So much easier than pushing around a stroller. We’d use the seat while visiting relatives for the holidays.

  29. We just had our second child so a carrier would be amazing and I love the seat because we could use it on the inside of a booth with a highchair on the outside edge!

  30. These would be AWESOME for travelling with! All of our family is out of town and we often go visit. We also are getting Disney tickets for our kids for Christmas, and these would be PERFECT to have for that trip!

  31. I would love to use the lobster at one of our favorite restaurants! We travel a lot and the carrier would be great for hands free mobility!

  32. I’d definitely love to use the lobster at grandma’s house because right now my little one sits on my lap to eat whenever we’re there and this would make him feel like he’s a part of the table along with the rest of us. And the metro carrier would be awesome for taking along baby #2 on errands like going to the supermarket.

  33. the carrier would be great anytime and anywhere, so you don’t have to deal with a stroller if you don’t want to. The lobster would be great when visiting friends and family.

  34. I love the idea of the lobster – we are very fam oriented and go to my inlaws and grandparents ALOT for meals – this would make our life soooo much easier! also, living in a tiny brooklyn apt -this would defs come in good use!
the lobster carrier would “free me up” a little more making it more accessible for me to go out.

  35. I’d love to take the little one to see Seattle!! We could do the tourist thing and visit all the little shops and the “Farmer’s Market” – maybe even dinner somewhere special.

  36. These would be so wonderful for traveling! Neither of our sets of parents live in the same place as us so we will surely be doing a lot of visiting when our baby arrives.

  37. I would love to take the metro carrier & lobster to Perth,Aus to see the relatives, my brother and his family haven’t seen the baby yet 🙂

  38. I would take the lobster EVERYWHERE and the metro would go with us on our walks, to gramma’s, and pretty much every other outing that I can think of!

  39. I would take them pretty much anywhere, especially the lobster to family houses and out to eat. Get tired of dragging a high chair and restaurant ones never want to buckle her in

  40. I would finally get my husband to take our super hyperactive dog on a hike with the baby in tow! Maybe I could even get him to go daily! 🙂

  41. Ah i would love to use both of them to go see my parents and take my baby to meet my entire family in California, 1600 miles from me!

  42. haha, ok so I didn’t read the instructions carefully. I live in Las Vegas, so the carrier and lobster will come handy when eating out (LOTS of restaurants) and walking on the strip. I also travel often to visit family in NY & KY.

  43. The lobster would be awesome to take to grandma’s house every week. We don’t have an extra high chair so I’m lugging ours back and forth at least once a week. The metro carrier would be great for shopping, specifically the weekly groceries.

  44. the lobster would be a great way to save space at home and while traveling to grandma’s house. The carrier could be great to work off some of that baby weight.

  45. I would love to take the lobster to grandma’s house and in-law’s house, cuz my baby has to sit on my lap everytime! and the metro will be perfect to carry my little one around since I don’t have double stroller and my older one wants to sit on her stroller..

  46. I think we would take these everywhere! The lobster would be perfect for dinners out or traveling to see family. The metro carrier looks perfect for trips to the store or for hiking, we’re a very active family!

  47. Living in NY I would take my metro carrier when I needed to go on the subway or shopping pretty much anywhere so I didn’t have to deal with the complications of a stroller. As for the lobster it would go in my stroller so I could have it at all times. I have often said I needed one just never got around to owning it.

  48. Yay for Day 7 of the 12 Days of Giveaways from Baby Gizmo!! I would LOVE to win the lobster to make traveling to see family & friends easier… primarily to my baby’s paternal grandparents. 🙂

On the other hand, if I won the metro carrier it would make holidy shopping a breeze. 😉

  49. I would love to take the carrier hiking, and explore the countryside. The lobster would come in handy while out to eat on our trip to Florida.

  50. I would love the Lobster for it’s convenience to take it with us out to eat. I would love to not have to worry about the germ filled restaurant high chairs.

  51. If I won the metro carrier and lobster seat I would take them on our MANY European travels while stationed here in Germany. We are a military family ALWAYS on the move and MOST times our new homes/ vacation getaways are not always the perfect setup. These would make life so much easier!!!

  52. I would give these items to a single-mother family (3 little kids) whom I saw on our local news just last night. They lost everything in a fire.

  53. Both would be wonderful for my travels. My husband is deployed and I will travel over 12 hours alone with two toddlers to see family for Christmas. Did I mention in a mustang so not only would both items take up very little space but they would also be such a help during my travels.

  54. My husband and I are big outdoors people and the metro carrier would be great for day hikes! The lobster would be great for our little restraunts here where a highchair take up so much space. 🙂

  55. I would love to bring them to friend’s houses that don’t have kids. It is hard to hold a toddler and eat with them on your lap.

  56. i am always taking my 7 month old to visit our family members who are spread out all over… the lobster would be perfect for all of those family dinners!

  57. I would love to win these items. I wanted a nice carrier like this when my son was smaller but it would be great to have one now that I have a new little girl.

  58. I would take the Metro Carrier everywhere for hands free moving, but especially shopping at the mall. Sometimes it is very hard getting my stroller through different shop because of displays cutting off the flow.

  59. I would like to use these on our upcoming family trip to Ft. Myers Beach, FL. It will be our first time traveling with our 2yo and 6 mos old!

  60. I would love to have them for travel on vacation or to friends’ and family’s homes without having to lug a whole big high chair.

  61. I would keep both items in my car because they would be super helpful, especially when out and about shopping and eating at restaurants!!!!!!!!!

  62. We would use the metro carrier for hiking and other outings. And the lobster at home, friends, families and restaurants. Thanks for the opportunity!

  63. i would love to take the lobster when we go out and save us from the germs of the high chairs in restaurants! love that its so portable!

  64. Ideally, I would love to have the metro carrier and lobster chair for family outings. I visit my family in New York a lot and having this instead of a heavy bag and a booster seat or high chair to lug around would be amazing!

  65. These would be great to take with us on our North Shore Camping Trips! The Metro Carrier would also be very useful on family walks or hikes, and the lobster @ home, resturants… Great looking products!

  66. Could really use them both for weekly outtings with 2 little ones! Resturants, friends homes, and the occasional vacation!

  67. The lobster would be great for the holidays when we are constantly visiting friends and family who either do not have little ones or are way past that stage. As for the metro carrier–that’s a dream come true. It would actually make it possible to participate in my older boys events (mainly scouting) with ease!

  68. The Lobster would be great to use at restaurants instead of the icky, never been cleaned high chairs they have. The Metro carrier would be perfect for the daily trips to the park we make.

  69. What a great giveaway! I could use the lobster just about anywhere! My daughter is currently hating her highchair and crawls out of it every chance she gets…the lobster would be way more handy for feedings! The metro carrier would be great for hiking!

  70. I need it at home and at grandma’s since we have a new baby (12,months apart) and cannot fit another high chair in the house.

  71. Love, Love, Love the Lobster!! It’s perfect for the holidays and all the travelling we’ll be doing to visit friends and families.

  72. We do a lot of camping so both would come in handy. The lobster for the camper, and the metro carrier would come in handy for all those hikes we love to take as a family.

  73. I would love the Lobster for at home, because we don’t have room for a highchair! And, the Metro would be perfect for hiking; we go every weekend!

  74. Since we live in the city we would take the lobster and metro carrier absolutely everywhere! Especially when we make our first trip to visit the grandparents in spain!

  75. The carrier would everywhere with me then i don’t need my heavy old double stroller. The lobster would replace the high chair and be a big help!

  76. I would take the high chair to all of the places that don’t have a place my daughter to eat, my sister’s house, my friend’s house, etc, 🙂

  77. Would take the carrrier everywhere.. love carriers. Same w lobster. Love the idea of not using the yucky restaurant chairs. And we don’t own a high chair yet

  78. WOW IF I WON I WOULD TAKE THEM EVERYWHERE THESE ARE AWESOME! THAT CARRIER WOULD BE NICE FOR WHEN WE GO CAMPING OR EVEN THE ZOO MY BABE WOULD LOVE THIS

  79. I would like to take them to the zoo for ZooLights with my son. Carriers are far better than strollers in the cold for keeping in body heat!

  80. 1.) I would take the carrier to community events at the park & the lobster to restaurants.
2.) One more flew over the cuckoo’s nest referred me.

  81. The carrier I would use for walks since it looks like it’s easier to get on my back than my soft structured carrier. I would bring the lobster to restaurants instead of the high chairs they have

  82. I would love to take our almost 4 month old daughter, Abigayle, out to dinner in the lobster. We haven’t had any chances to do this yet! Would love to take the carrier out for a day of Christmas shopping with her as well! Better yet, around the neighborhood to see the beautiful Christmas lights 🙂 It is her very first christmas, we are truly blessed 🙂

  83. So cool! The metro carrier is something my husband will use (front carriers are just not something he will wear).
The lobster is perfect for dining out. Thank you Baby Gizmo and Phil & Ted!

  84. I would take them to go on a nice, relaxing shopping trip with my family. The lobster would be perfect for the restaurant and the metro carrier would be perfect for places where strollers are difficult to maneuver.

  85. We would totally use the carrier for a trip to the Zoo, and the Lobster for trips to Mima and Grandmama’s houses, for dining at restaurants, and also for a safe place for my baby girl to sit and watch me as I do housework. She is so clingy right now, but in a GOOD way!

  86. I’ll have to see if my brother is interested in buying the metro off me, he’s been looking for a frame back carrier. otherwise, it’s all mine for taking walks outside.

  87. I would love the metro carrier for my husband to take our son on hikes in our area! We have gorgeous trails here and my husband never wants to go!

  88. I would love to start walking with my baby girl to get back to prepregnancy weight and shape. 🙂 We like to visit new restaurants and places so we could use the child chair there.

  89. With 6 month old twins, I could use anything to make traveling easier! Grandma’s, groceries, out for a bite to eat – these seem like they could definitely help!

  90. As a soon to be first time mom, i can see myself using these products alot! Especially for all the baby shopping i’m going to be doing!

  91. Winning would be so awesome! The carrier would be great for conventions where space is crowded and a stroller would just be in the way. The lobster would help us out so much since we’re down to 3 diningroom chairs at the moment!

  92. EVERYWHERE!! It would be amazing to keep in my van for trips to grandmas or a quick bite to lunch. And the carrier would be great to use everyday since my daughter still likes to be held and is getting a bit big for it!!

  93. Metro carrier: As I walk my daughter to school, then walking to the coffee shop for ME!
Lobster: When we go to friends and families homes over the holidays! Out to dinner for US!
    Love them both.
