Baby Jogger City Select Stroller Photos

I have heard from a few parents that are concerned about the seat size of the Baby Jogger City Select.  You can see our testers in the seats in our video review but I thought I would take some actual photos to give you a good idea of how big the seat is.  I tested the seat with a 6 month old, 3 year old and a 5 year old.  Just so you know, here are the testers’ stats:

6 months:  18 lbs & 27 inches

3 Years old:  34 lbs & 36 inches

5 Years old:  41 lbs & 42 1/2 inches

Note:  Our 5 year old tester is way past the “stroller age” and never rides in a stroller anymore.  She walks! 🙂  But she was very cooperative to help us show what a child near the weight capacity of 45 lbs looked like in the stroller seat!

Hi, I have the City Mini GT and absolutely love it (except the underneath basket, since its very unaccessible), however, we have a 1.3 year old baby and another in the way and I have been doing a lot of research looking for the best options. For the City Mini GT i used to use the Graco Click Connect as a car seat along with the adapters and it worked fine, i wouldnt want to spend in another car seat since i have the same car seat in both of my cars. Do you think those would be fine to… Read more »

Hi Holly! Love your reviews! Any thoughts on the City Select vs. the Phil&Ted Promenade (or other Phil&Teds)? My second baby will be only 15 months younger than my baby now… 🙂 Thanks!!

Has anyone tried traveling recently through airport security with this stroller? I travel a lot and need something I can use in airports.

Do the 2011 and 2012 extra seats still fit in the 2010 city select frame? I want to buy the 2010 model but want to be able to buy a second seat in the future for a second child.

Sara, a lot of people have had this issue. The only way to solve it what I have read is put baby up front facing you and toddler facing outwards nearest to you. I haven’t got this stroller yet. I was inbetween city select, b ready or the upper baby. I drew the upper baby out completely when I saw that the front seat is always facing inwards, hate that!! The b ready, the bottom seat is just too far back and on the floor, I know my toddler wont like being down there. So that leave the city select,… Read more »

I have this stroller, I just got it. I find it very difficult to maneuver with my 27 lb two year old in the front seat and my newborn in a graco up top. Is there something wrong with the stroller? Or is it just difficult with the center of gravity being off perhaps? Just wondering if it is my stroller that has issues.

I’ve read that maxicosi mico fit the best with bjcs, just wonder how about cabriofix? Is it a great, acceptable, or a no fit?

Will the City Select fold up with the car seat adopter and and one toddler seat still attached, or do you have to remove the adapter?

I’m in between the city select and b-ready. I like the configurations of the city select but i’ve heard the seats are shorter in terms of leg room. My kids are 2 years apart, one being a new born. I want to choose the ideal stroller that will allow my eldest to ride the longest being most comfortable and have ample leg room.

Which one should I choose? Thanks

How did you get the footwell to fold up on a 90 degree angle? Mine sits out at 45 and doesn’t fit in my car!
