Babyhome Vida Stroller Review (VIDEO)

Babyhome Vida Stroller Review

The premium stroller brand, Babyhome, has recently added a new addition to their line of modern, fabulous strollers and we have the scoop for you. The Babyhome Vida is an ultra-lightweight stroller with big features! It is like an upgraded version of their popular Emotion stroller but the Vida is taller, deeper and wider.

The Vida seat accommodates up to 55 lbs (that’s HUGE for a stroller!) and sports a roomy seat that measures 13 1/2″ wide with an 18″ seatback and a measurement of 24″ from seatback to canopy. It has a deep recline that works with a one-handed strap system and is suitable for 3 months and up. The stroller can be used from birth with the Nest Kit (sold separately for $119) or an infant car seat when you turn it into a travel system. The seat features an adjustable, 5-point, padded harness for safety and a two-position leg rest for comfort.

When the seat is reclined, the back fabric can be lifted up for additional seat ventilation and there are two added mesh side vents with magnetic fabric covers that keeps the seat very airy and cool.

Since parents and caretakers aren’t all the same size, we love that the handle is adjustable from 34″ to 42″ from ground to handle.

The stroller features a large 3-panel canopy (one panel does zip in and out to make it smaller or larger!) and an additional pop-out sun visor for great sun protection. There is a peek-a-boo window on top with a magnetic closure to keep an eye on your little rider.

The basket is a great size for such a lightweight stroller and easily accommodates a large diaper bag. It is accessible from the back and has mesh windows on the sides to allow you to see what’s inside. There is also a small mesh pocket on the back of the seat that is good for small parent essentials such as keys, smart phone or wallet.

Maneuverability is important on a buggy so we are pleased that the Vida rolls on TPE wheels that have all wheel suspension. The back wheels are 6 1/2″ and the front wheels are 6″ and have the ability to lock straight to tackle a bit of all-terrain. We found that the Vida has an amazing one-handed push and the suspension system really absorbs some of the bumps so baby isn’t bouncing all over the place in the seat.

Folding the stroller is simple to do by lifting on two levers on the sides of the handle bars. It requires two hands but is super easy to do and leaves the stroller in a very compact, lightweight, standing fold. Speaking of lightweight, the Vida stroller weighs in at an impressively low weight of 15 1/2 lbs, making it the lightest full featured stroller on the market. We also love that there is an automatic lock to keep the stroller closed when transporting. If you plan to travel with the Vida often (because it IS a great travel stroller!), you may want to invest in the Vida Travel Bag that will be available in fall 2016.

Overall, we are very impressed with the Babyhome Vida stroller. Our favorite features are the lightweight frame, large seat, big basket, adjustable handlebar and smooth push. The Babyhome Vida is available now and retails for $399.

This may be an odd question but; how high up is the seat on this stroller? Measuring from the floor to the seat. I'm asking because I suffer from some back issues and even though I'm only 5'1 I'm trying to compare stroller seat heights to better accommodate my situation. The fact that this is such a lightweight full size stroller is amazing, I'm just hoping it's not low on the ground like others I've been looking at. Thanks!

This would be perfect for our 6th baby! The older kids are out of strollers now and this Lightweight options would be to get in and out of the truck.
