My kids are still babies to me. They are one and two years old but I remember their newbie days well. I wanted to share their sweet, angelic faces with the world but was too tired to even think about dealing with a camera. My phone made sharing pictures of my new cherubs a snap.
Here are some photography apps that will make showing off your bundle of joy a breeze:
Hands down the best photography app in my opinion. You can either snap from within the app or upload a picture you took with your phone. Then you have the option to creatively edit your picture with a great selection of filters. The filters are great for hiding those new mom under eye circles and if you are anything like me you will really appreciate that feature. Once you have uploaded and edited your photo you can share on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and even via email.
The app is free and available for iPhones & soon for Android phones as well.
This is my favorite app for creating collages. It’s great for snap happy new moms because instead of spamming your social media feeds with hundreds of pictures you can combine the very best into a neat collage perfect for sharing. This app also has numerous beautiful filters to apply to your photos and a variety of super cute frames as well. You can even add a caption to your frames. I love that feature because you can have themed collections such as “Baby’s First Smile”, export them in high resolution, and send them out for prints. How cool is that? The sharing capabilities are great and include Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, and email.
Flickr is great for sharing and inspiration. You can shoot and upload pictures and video. Share with your friends and family on Flickr and keep track of your friends’ feeds as well. The super cool thing about Flickr is that if you want to play photographer and get some cool ideas or inspiration for you baby photos it is all right there at your fingertips. Do a quick search and thousands of professional and amateur shots are available to inspire you. You can find cute posing and outfit ideas easily or just get lost looking at all the creative photography this awesome community has to offer.
