Say Bye Bye to All Those Boo Boos!

Big Chick is really into talking about all her “boo boos”. Most of them aren’t detectable by the naked eye, but she loves to point them out to me anyway.

You know how most kids just need a band-aid to make things all better again? Not Big Chick. She hates wearing band-aids. I don’t blame her. They are totally annoying.

So when she actually does have a real boo boo, the only thing that makes it “better” is an ice pack. Not just any old ice pack will do though. And, again, I don’t blame her. Ice hurts. It’s wet, it drips, and it’s usually too cold.

I have a few tricks up my sleeve. Here are my favorite ice packs that are designed for children:

Boo Boo Buddy Cold Pack- Bee

How cute is this bee? The material is really soft and the gel stays pliable even when frozen. Also? It’s hypoallergenic and non-toxic.

Gal Pal Original Retro Ice Bag- Rubber Ducky

These were recently featured in Rachel Ray Magazine. I love the retro look of this ice bag. There are a lot of really cute prints to choose from. The 16 oz latex-free ice bag can be filled with hot or cold liquid. I might even get myself one of these for that bachelorette party I’m going to next month. Hmmm…

Boo Boo Buddy Instant Cold Pack- Sesame Street

This is a great pain relief option for when you are on the go. I always carry one of these in my car in case of an emergency. These cold packs don’t need to be frozen. You just activate them for instant pain relief.

Good luck banishing those boo boos Moms!
