Frozen Fever is Coming to a Theater Near You in March

If I wasn’t already ridiculously excited about the new Disney Cinderella film that is hitting theaters in March, but now with the addition of the 7-minute Frozen Fever short, I’m just plain giddy. Disney just released new images from the short “sequel” today and your Frozen fans are going to flip.

The animated short, which takes places after the events of “Frozen,” will premiere in front of Disney’s new live-action film, “Cinderella,” starting Friday, March 13. As if I needed another reason to run to the theaters to see Cinderella on opening day?!? So excited!

Here’s how Disney described “Frozen Fever” when the short film was announced in December:

In Frozen Fever, it’s Anna’s birthday and Elsa and Kristoff are determined to give her the best celebration ever, but Elsa’s icy powers may put more than just the party at risk.

The original cast of “Frozen” returns for the short film, including Kristen Bell (Anna), Idina Menzel (Elsa), Jonathan Groff (Kristoff) and Josh Gad (Olaf).

Not to worry, parents! There might be a new hit song in your house out of all this! The short, “Frozen Fever,” will also feature an all-new original song by Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, who wrote the original film’s soundtrack, including the Oscar-winning “Let It Go.”

As if I needed another reason to run to the theaters to see Cinderella on opening day?!?
