Dear old dad totally deserves to have a wonderful Christmas! And I’ve been working on your behalf to come up with some awesome ideas 🙂
Granted, dads tends to be one of the hardest to shop for. At least around here. First, we’ve got my Dad … he travels a lot and lives quite simple. When I ask what he would like his response is always, “Your love and devotion for another year!” That, I can do. But, it still leaves me lacking in the gift department.
Then, you’ve got my husband, my kiddos’ Dad. All his true dream gifts are big ticket items. A wee bit out of the budget when you consider that we planned to spend $50 on one another this year. So, again, dads can be troublesome when it comes to gifting!
It does make it more fun though – to shop and conquer within the difficult dad parameters and find them the perfect gift. Here’s some ideas I’m considering and ones you might love too!
I know, I know … what it is? Well, from my research it seems to be pretty nifty! You can mount it to the ceiling of the garage and plug it in next to the garage door opener. Then the extension cord is always ready to go, and retracts like a vacuum cord, easy and totally useful for all those garage projects.
SoundBot Bluetooth Shower Speaker $13
Dad will be ready to rock ‘n roll every morning with this awesome shower speaker – an Amazon bestseller with great reviews!
Perk up dad’s winter wardrobe with a thick, new flannel shirt. It comes in regular and tall (and tons of color combos) so is sure to fit perfectly.
A great pick for dad’s evening sips. Add in a bottle or two of his favorite beverage and you’ll be the favorite gift giver of the season!
Tula Baby Carrier $149+
Dads love bonding with their kids and sometimes all it takes to push them into the babywearing world of bonding is to get them a print they’ll love. With a football player stature, my husband is a big Tula fan – definitely his favorite carrier when it comes to fit and function!
If you’ve got a Star Wars buff in your family, this Darth Vader car decal is a must! Rumor is, Sith Lord and a Storm Trooper are available at Walmart stores too.

Posters made of metal? So cool! Perfect for dad’s office or man cave. I like the movie posters the best, but there are tons of choices!
