Hape Scoot Around Review

I really don’t mean to sound like a teenage girl but seriously…. Omg how cute is this?!

The Hape Scoot Around is a four wheeled wood scooter that is perfect for your toddler. This foot powered ride is a great way for children to practice their balance skills and develop their strength. It only comes in the bright green color, but I think it’s a great choice- it looks very cool and would suit a boy or girl.

It is recommended for ages 12 months to 36 months, and my 18 month old son absolutely loves it (even his 3.5 year old sister likes to scoot around on it, but her legs are pretty long for it). The rubberized wheels means it won’t scratch your floors, so your little ones are free to scoot all day! Assembly is required, but it’s mainly just some tightening of bolts and screws on the wheels and handlebar. It took me a total of twenty minutes.  The handlebar turns the front two wheels, but the back wheels are locked into place.

It retails for $79.99 at every retail/online store I’ve seen, but it is currently on Amazon for $71.99. It is such a huge hit with our son, that I would definitely recommend it to anyone that is looking for a ride on or even just a gift for a toddler.
