Labor and delivery gowns with style!

Just last week my doctor told me it could be any day now that Baby #3 makes their way into this world. At this point, we’re still not ready…but really, are you ever?! However I decided it was time to start making a list and checking it twice about what I needed and wanted (because wanting is always better than needing…) to make this delivery as smooth as possible. Since my first child was born there has been the integration of smart phones so we don’t need a camera, video camera and a phone — we just need the iPhone to get us through the 48 hours at the hospital but what I’m really packing in my hospital bag this time around is my own hospital gown to wear and deliver this baby in style.

Where were these gowns with my first two children?! I could have avoided many, many photo ops where the state-issued blue diamond hospital gown made me look way too tired and way too pale. Now for the choices…there are so many pretty, pretty gowns that I might have to pack two or three…just in case I change my mind.

This one is definitely going in my hospital bag! B.Y.O.G. (Bring Your Own Gown), $95, at shopbyog.com.

I totally want one of these, but I don’t want it to get ruined during delivery. It’s kind of messy. 🙂 Maybe I’ll change into it after the baby is born and we are all cleaned up….

You should take a look at PUSH delivery gowns. They are just as affordable and so much prettier! http://www.pushdeliverygowns.com/

why not bring a tank top and sweats/shorts? you don’t need a gown to be in labor or give birth!
