Meet a Yummy Mummy

Meet a Yummy Mummy

I don’t know which I adore more – the husband and wife team who started Pink Lining or the bags that they design. I had the privilege of meeting the designer of the Yummy Mummy bags, Charlotte, and her adorable husband Rufus last fall. Charlotte is a gorgeous British mom of three who is the spitting image of a proper English lady but bursting with personality at the same time. I love her! Plus, her husband is celebrity-gorgeous too!

So, you know I like the designers, and they are pretty people and all, but what do they design, right? This couple started Pink Lining in London in 2001. They are best known for their fabulous Changing Bags. (The British call ’em changing bags and we call ’em diaper bags.) The diaper bags are not only adorable but practical too. There are six different styles to choose from when you are picking a Pink Lining bag: Yummy Mummy, Mama et Bebe Messenger, Blooming Gorgeous Bags, Norland Totes, Queensdale Totes, and Satchels.

All the diaper bags feature their signature shocking pink water-resistant linings. These linings are not only unique and fabulous but it prevents the black hole that the inside of bags become when they are too dark. The bags are also stocked with other practical features to make taking baby on-the-go a bit easier.

Meet a Yummy Mummy

I had the privilege of getting to know the Yummy Mummy Bag up close and personal. The bag is adorable with the exclusively designed prints (all designed by Charlotte herself) and can be carried with the two carry handles or over your shoulder with the adjustable shoulder strap. It’s made of a durable fabric that is so easy to wipe down. On the outside of the bag is two handy bottle pockets and a snap pocket on the front for quick access to smaller items. Inside the bag you’ll find a large, padded changing mat, large zip wet bag, two insulated bottle pockets, a mobile pocket, a zip pocket, key fob, mirror and pen holder. I honestly have to say that one of my favorite features of the inside of the bag is the mirror. A mirror is not a standard feature of diaper bags and I love it! Great for a quick make-up or hair check!
