This weekend I attended BlogHer in San Diego. You may have seen some of my pictures from the event that I posted on the Baby Gizmo Facebook page. What is BlogHer, you ask? It’s a annual conference for female bloggers. BlogHer’s mission is “to create opportunities for women who blog to gain exposure, education, community and economic empowerment.”
This was the first year I attended BlogHer and I was super excited to get together with three of our fabulous Baby Gizmo Senior Editors who also attended. You have gotten to know these ladies through their posts here on RatedbyMom.com and features/reviews on BabyGizmo.com. Since I just saw them this weekend, I thought this was a great time to re-introduce them to you. Baby Gizmo friends meet Christine, Morgan and Christina! (If you want to meet the whole team, check out Meet the Moms on BabyGizmo.com HERE)
From left to right… (and hopefully you know I am second from the left!)
Christine Fox is Everyday Mama to two (with #3 expected in November!) and a San Diego-based freelance writer and PR pro. She loves everything that has to do with shopping, baby gear and being the talk of the playgroup when she finds the perfect shirt and diaper bag. Her philosophy is simple: that being a mom does not mean that you should sacrifice style. You can be a mom and stylish! When she’s not shopping or writing about shopping and baby gear, she can be found playing with her two kids at the park. Christine also writes for her own daily blog at everydaymama.com.
Morgan is a Domestic Goddess and mother to two girls, Big Chick and Baby Chick. Before she became a mother in 2007, she worked as a nanny for three different families. This means that she has had goldfish stuck to her car floor for a very long time. While Morgan loves all baby and child related gear, she has a particular fondness for strollers. This explains why, much to her husband’s dismay, there are six of them taking up valuable space in “his” garage. When Morgan isn’t outside enjoying the Southern California weather, she also writes for her own website: (The Little Hen House).
Christina lives in Southern California with her husband and 3 boys. As a trained Montessori teacher, she’s always exploring and creating new ways to inspire, educate and encourage her children. Prior to Montessori, Christina owned and designed her own line of boutique children’s clothing. While in the children’s fashion industry, she realized how important it was to use a critical eye when researching the latest and greatest gear, toys, clothing and accessories. Christina has a passion for mommyhood, event planning, design, decorating and DIY projects all of which have fueled her writing and the creation of her personal site, http://www.mommylovescoffee.com
Love them all!!
