Mountain Buggy is going small for 2013 with the new Mountain Buggy Mini Stroller

Mountain Buggy strollers are known for their rough, rugged, all-terrain designs. But for 2013, they are thinking about the city mamas with the introduction of their lightest stroller ever to join their collection. The new Mountain Buggy Mini is designed for everyday-use, weighing a very light 17 lbs.

Not to worry though because the Mini will still sport Mountain Buggy’s sturdy frame and excellent maneuverability. The aluminum frame rolls on 10″ Aerotech tires which Mountain Buggy explains as not exactly a rubber or a plastic tire. It has the appearance of a rubber tire with a Aerotech hollow core and a durability of plastic. Yes, we’ll have to get more into the wheels in our full, in-depth review when the stroller is released.

The Mini also features a fast, one-handed fold, large canopy, auto lock, standing fold and large seat.
