New Fashions for the Britax B-Ready

You all know we love the Britax B-Ready!  It’s been fun in black, silver, red and green!  Good news though – in addition to the original four colors – Britax is introducing three additional to keep things hot!

Starting in April 2011, the Britax B-Ready will be available in Twilight, Pink & Mediterranean Blue!  So, the stroller that has 14 configurations, will now have 7 colors to choose from!  Ohhh, the choices!!!

More good news is that the three new B-READY (MSRP: $499.99) colors will be included in the Britax “Free Ride” Event through June 30, 2011 (while supplies last)!  Consumers get the choice of a free CHAPERONE infant car seat, Bassinet or Second Seat with the purchase of a B-READY through the BRITAX “Free Ride” Event.

Check out our full review (with video!) of the Britax B-Ready here.

Here are the new colors:

  1. Hi Hollie. You really have great reviews on any stroller… Very comprehensive. I haven’t seen any be ready so was wondering what do you think is the best color. I have a son & a daughter. Also, is the silver too light that would be hard to maintain? Thanks…

  2. Hi Carol, I have the Uppababy Vista and although I do LOVE LOVE LOVE it as a single stroller, the B-ready does have it’s advantages over the Vista as a double. My main issues with using the Uppa as a double are: 1) the rumble seat can’t recline so if I have the top seat reclined for my baby to sleep it hits the top of the rumbleseat making it impossible for my toddler to use it while the baby is sleeping, and 2) the Uppa can’t be folded with the rumble seat attached. It’s very quick and easy to attach but it does get annoying to keep detaching and reattaching it if you are out shopping or running around and you’re going to be getting in and out of the car repeatedly.

I originally chose the Uppababy over the B-Ready because it was offered in more cool colors (vain I know), but if the B-ready had been offered in more colors I probably woudl have chosen that instead. Hope this helps!

  3. Hi Hollie! I have a 3 year old boy and expecting a girl in September. I have watched your reviews and I am torn between Britax B-ready and Uppababy Vista. Any suggestions? Also, do you think a bassinet is worthwhile to have? thanks!

  4. Hello – just wondering where we might be able to get these new colours in with the ‘free ride’ event. Amazon does not seem to be offering the promotion with them… any one else found this?

  5. Hollie,
I was wondering the same as Tera. Do you know whether they will be offering these or any other more colors for the B-Scene? I’m not crazy about the red or the black.

Thank you for all you do!

    • Hi Lauren and Tera,
Britax does not have any plans to offer the B-Scene in other colors yet – BUT (hot off the press!) Britax is going to be offering just the B-Ready seat sold separately in the new colors in April. B-Scene and B-Ready both have the same seat. So, if it were really important, a customer could buy the B-Scene stroller and buy a second replacement seat in the new color separately. Hopefully, they will offer just the B-Scene frame for sale and the seats sold separately…but not yet. Make sense? – Hollie

  6. I’m kinda digging the Twilight one… if only for its name 😉
I can’t really appreciate the blue one’s beauty bc it reminds me of my crappy stroller.

  7. Loving the new colours! How fabulous that they will be included in the “free ride” event.
Thanks for keeping me up-to-date as always 🙂
