New in the Land of Chicco for 2009 & 2010

ABC Kids Expo News

Chicco has introduced a few new products recently that they showcased at the ABC Kids Expo in Las Vegas last week.

This fully-rotating hook-on high chair can make mealtime convenient and fun.  Chicco’s 360 Rotating Hook-On Chair  has an innovative seat that locks in 6 positions for a more convenient feeding.  You can face baby toward mom for one-on-one feeding.  Face baby out to keep him happy and let others entertain him.  Face him forward toward the table for regular mealtimes with the snap-on tray.

I love how the seat folds compactly for easy travel and storage.  It even comes with a carry bag which is great for traveling to restaurants and grandma’s house.  Unlike other hook-on chairs, the 360 has a great snap-on serving tray so that you child has a clean surface for meals especially in restaurants.  (I hate to have my baby eating off the restaurant tables!)    It is recommended for children 6 months up to 36 months with a weight capacity of 37 lbs.  The 360 sports a 3-point harness for safety and rubberized arms that ensure that baby’s fingers don’t get pinched and no marks are left behind on the table.  Finally, the removable seat pad is machine washable and the tray is dishwasher-safe.  The 360 retails for $69.99 and is available now.

  • Built-in carry handle for transporting
  • Parent’s cup holder
  • Ergonomic handles

KEYFIT STRADA BOOSTER *Coming December 2009

Chicco’s new booster seat, the Keyfit Strada Booster, is coming out December 2009.  Chicco is helping to keep even our older kids in car seats longer.  This high back booster seat accommodates children up to 10 years old (or 100 lbs)!!  The Strada features triple zone side-impact protection and sports a headrest and side wings that adjust up and out for maximum protection of head, shoulders and lumbar zones.  The height and width is adjustable easily with one hand.  The height adjustable backrest also has 9 different positions.  The Strada is stocked with EPS foam for enhanced impact protection and deep side wings support your child’s head and neck while napping.  It even has an adjustable, clip-on cup holder for your child.  The Strada is for children 4-10 years old, 38″-57″ tall and 33-100 lbs.  Retails for $169.99.

I agreed not to post information or pictures on the two new Chicco products that we saw at the ABC Kids Expo last week because the were only prototypes.  What I can tell you (at least I think I can) is that they are debuting a new full-size double stroller (currently named Cortina Together Double Stroller) and a new high chair (currently named Polly Magic).  The double stroller will be stocked with all the features of a good tandem double stroller and the high chair will be the Polly Highchair but even better!
