Yesterday my best friend called and said it was already 90 degrees in Utah. Ninety! It’s barely breaking 70 degrees in my home state of Washington, but here, 70 degrees means it is backyard sprinkler weather and she concurred that she was grabbing the sunscreen and shuffling her kiddos outdoors too run in the sprinklers for a bit.
No matter the temperature your summers have peaked at so far, I can almost guarantee that you’re scooting your kiddos outside to run in the sun as well. Personally, I adore backyard sprinklers because they give the fun of water play without the worry. That’s why, confession, our family has THREE different sprinklers that we rotate through.
Take a peek at some extra fun, not so basic backyard sprinklers that are definitely worth adding to your arsenal of summer activities.
Splash Pad Mat — My youngest is coming up on his first birthday and I think he would get a kick out of this mini splash pad. And you can’t beat the price, currently 35% off at $29.99!
Melissa & Doug Blossom Bright Sprinkler — Of course our favorite toy brand makes an awesome sprinkler! I love how it looks like a pop of flowers in the grass.
360 Rotating Sprinkler — This one looks basic, but the reviews lead me to believe that it is pretty perfection when it comes to sprinkler fun!
Fire Hydrant Sprinkler — We have an older version of this guy and it is FUN! It’s small but it really packs a punch and sprays super high when the water is on full blast.
Inflatable Whale Sprinkler — This one sits on the grass or floats in the pool … and it’s really cute!
Octo Spray ‘n Splash — Where ring toss and water play unite
