NurturMe’s New Blended Pouches and Dry Snacks

New from NurturMe, the only family of certified organic dried fruit and vegetable meals and snacks for kids 4 months to 4 years, comes NuturMeals and Yum-a-Roo’s. For the unfamiliar, NurturMe has been selling single flavor dried pouches of baby food since 2010. They are an easy way for modern parents to feed their kids nutritious food on the go – just add water, breastmilk, or formula to the pouch until it is your desired consistency and you are set. You can even add the dry mix to yogurt or baked goods for older children!

In an effort to find innovative and sustainable ways to support busy parents, NurturMe created their new NurturMeals blended pouches. These meals bring together superfoods like kale, quinoa, and sweet potatoes in order to expand you child’s palate and make sure they are getting nutrient rich foods in their diet. There are four flavors available – Squash, Bananas, and Green Kale; Sweet Potatoes, Oatmeal, and Bananas; Peas, Quinoa, and Apples; and Carrots, Raisins, and Sweet Potatoes.  Each blended pouch yields about 4 oz of prepared food and retails at $1.49 each. They are available at Diapers.com through April 15 and will be available at NurturMe retailers after that date.

For the one and over age group, NurturMe has added Yum-a-Roo’s to their product line-up. These toddler snacks are made of dried fruit and veggies and dissolve easily in a child’s mouth. Each .75 oz pouch has 1.5 servings of fruits/veggies and retails for $2.99. There are currently two flavors – Tropical Twist (Banana, Mango, and Pineapple) and Caribbean Crop (Pea, Banana, and Pineapple.) These will be available May 1 at NurturMe retailers.

As if all this wonderful nutrition wasn’t enough to make you want to try these products, they are made in the USA, are non-GMO, are kosher, and are packed in recyclable materials made with wind energy. Good for your kids and good for the earth!
