Let’s set the record straight. I love Petunia Pickle Bottom. If you’re expecting, have never heard of them before, or are currently debating buying one of their bags, I highly recommend checking them out!
Petunia Pickle Bottom makes an array of beautiful diaper bags in different prints, styles, and fabrics. Their newest line of bags are leather and the moxt luxurious of all.
Today I want to talk about the leather Hampton Holdall. This bag is part of Petunia’s CAKE line and normally it is made of velvet and tweed materials. Recently Petunia released this bag in laser cut leather in two different prints. The one I am reviewing is the Marmalade Fondant.
Now, I love all of my Petunia bags and I have quite a few, but this one wins by a landslide. This bag is seriously stunning. It is beautifully crafted, the pattern is gorgeous, and the colors mesh so well together and really pop. I would definitely categorize this bag as a designer bag because diaper bags can be designer, too! Because this bag is made completely of leather you’ll find that it is a bit heavier than Petunia’s other bags. Nothing you’ll break your back over but it’s not the lightest bag on the market by any means.
This bag has the best organization of any diaper bag I’ve ever seen. There’s a main compartment that has pockets, two large magazine type pockets (one on the front, one on the back), a bottle pocket on each side, and a small front pocket. I can’t stand when you open a bag to find that it has one giant black hole. It makes it impossible to keep anything organized and finding things is a nightmare. This bag makes organizing your things and keeping everything in order extremely easy.
I could fit my whole life in this bag if I wanted to. Images of Mary Poppins pulling out millions of items from her carpet bag come flashing in my head when I pack this bag. It holds so much. Something else I love about this bag is that it looks amazing when it’s stuffed full or when it’s practically empty. Some diaper bags I’ve used in the past look slouchy when empty and the seams almost burst open when packed to the brim. The leather this bag is made of is built to last. And built to look darn good, too.
The marmalade Fondant Hampton Holdall has three different carrying options and I love having options. I’ve found myself using it over my shoulder the most. You can also attach the long strap that is included to carry the bag messenger style or attach the included stroller clips so you can hook it right on your stroller and don’t have to carry it at all! This bag also comes with the cutest little matching coin purse and all the hardware is custom stamped and sculpted with an antique brass finish.

This is my dream diaper bag. If I could imagine my perfect bag and design it any way my little heart desired, the Petunia leather holdall would be it! This fabulous designer diaper bag retails for $760 and comes complete with Petunia’s guarantee and unbeatable customer service. This is the best company I’ve ever had the pleasure of doing business with. Their customer service is first rate and I think that’s something very important worth mentioning. You can shop Petunia Pickle Bottom here.
Now that I’ve shared my dream diaper bag with you, tell me about yours!

Great review! My favorite practical bag is the Sashay Satchel and my favorite dressy diaper bag is the Society Satchel both by Petunia Pickle Bottom!
