My daughter was thrilled to receive this rocking horse from my mom last month, and, although it’s always a pleasure to receive a gift that doesn’t make any noise, there are other reasons why I love this rocker.
Firstly, there is no assembly required, it comes all ready to go. Secondly, this rocker was well-thought out when they made it- the back of the seat is high, so I don’t have to worry about my little one falling off. The platform area that is used to rock is so wide that her feet fit perfectly on it both left and right, and it goes so far back that it doesn’t tip over no matter how hard my daughter pushes it. And believe me, she rocks that thing so hard sometimes I wonder if it’ll grow legs and start running.
It also comes in blue, is priced at $29.99 and recommended for children aged 1 to 3 years. The dimensions are 33″ length x 10″ width x 17.5″ height, which makes this rocker a go-to toy for my daughter with no help from me. She can easily climb on and off herself at 16 months. It does sometimes slowly slide backwards the more you rock it, but we just gently pull it forward again.
Little Tikes do a range of rocking toys, including this Rockin Puppy in blue or red, which is a little lower at 15.9″ height and priced at $24.99. You can check out their range of rockers here.
