Snowy day gear you’ll adore (and it’s on sale)!

Ugh, the winter weather has finally caught up with us. It’s all snow, rain and wind out there and all we have to wear is last year’s snow onesie that is clearly too small. I don’t know about you but my kids are growing like weeds and it seems even though I try and plan ahead in sizes — it never works out. Never! In fact one time, I think my son just skipped a size altogether…how does that happen? So now as we’re finally prepping to get into the snow, the gear we need is also now on sale. Yippee! So not only am I planning to buy for this year but also for next year. Here’s a few of my favorite snowy day looks that just can’t be beat in both cuteness and in price!

Even the littlest snow bunny will look adorable in this get-up and she’ll stay SO warm. Primigi Kids Giubbotto Hooded Snow Suit, $53.99 (originally $67) at

These pants are so HOT they may melt the snow right out from under them — in fact, these are almost gender neutral so you can pass them from brother to sister, no problem! Cherokee Plaid Snow Pant, $13.98, at

Personally, my son won’t wear anything unless it’s CARS related so I’m buying a pair of these for this year and one for next year too (assuming, he’s still the fanatic he is right now)! Disney/Pixar Cars Snow Boots, $23.97 (originally $45), at, and for the Princess of the family, those are also on sale too. Disney Princess Light-Up Snow Boots, $23.97, at

Jackets are worn so much for the season, it makes sense to invest in a good one that will last. Adventure Parka, $64 (originally $89), at

I just love this hat — any age, any gender — it reminds me of Kate Spade‘s cheeky snow hats for us moms! Snowboarding Goggle Sweater Hat, $15.49, at
