Spotlight Video Review: Orbit Baby Helix 2 Stroller

The highly anticipated first double stroller offered from Orbit Baby is here and we have the skinny on it. We put the Orbit Baby Helix through the works, loaded it up with kids, strolled the streets and we have a video review to report our findings.

  1. please only post the second comment I left cuz I accidently hit submit too soon on the first one- as is obvious-thanks 🙂 and thanks for your blog!!

  2. I have it and agree with everything you said! I live in Los Angeles and it is quite sunny. I will say I found the iPad sunshade to be better than I had originally thought because the top seat also blocks the lower child from the elements to some degree.

Only other thing to add is Orbit Baby doesn’t recommend the child to be rear facing at all in the second seat regardless of whether it’s the toddler seat, bassinet or infant car seat.

I have found that I use it with my 16 month old and 3 year old ONLY when I am driving somewhere like a dr.’s office or a mall. It’s just TOO heavy and takes too long to assemble for regular strolls or quick ins and outs. I also see the value in its use for travel. Other than that, I seem to default to my double citymini for ease of use all around. If I didn’t need to replace my base in the first place, I don’t think I would have spent the $$.

However, as a SINGLE, I LOVE the improvements to the base with the new handle and the basket and I must admit I DO get a lot of questions and compliments on it…
