The Best Baby Gear Picks for William and Kate’s Royal Baby (VIDEO)

When we expect our first child, we are flooded with advice from fellow moms: “Buy this stroller!” “No that stroller!” “Buy this crib!” “No that one!” it can all get overwhelming. But today we’re not talking about just anyone expecting a baby, we’re talking today about a royal baby. You probably know by now that William and Kate announced they are expecting their first child. An heir to the British throne! Let’s be honest- that is gonna be one spoiled kid! Kate will probably only need to think about what she wants and some bodyguard will have already read her mind and have it hand-delivered to her by the designer. No, I’m not jealous at all. At all.

She is a young and elegant young woman who is often seen in high street labels and we love that about her ūüôā So what might she buy? And most importantly, what type of things might her grandmother-in-law buy? Because, you know, she’s just the Queen of England. No biggie.

Here are some of our thoughts and picks in today’s Baby Gizmo Video below:

DIAPER BAG:

Kate is chic and modern so we think she would pick something like the Petunia Pickle Bottom Black Forest Cake Society Satchel. The Queen on the other hand might keep Kate a bit more classic with this Burberry House Check Baby Changing Tote.

STROLLER:

While we think Kate would pick something like a Stokke Xplory, we might have to agree with the Queen that she would need more paparazzi coverage with the Inglesina Classic Pram.

BABY MONITOR:

Kate would do great with our favorite Summer Infant Baby Touch Monitor, but we think the Queen might disagree that an actual device would be needed when Kate will probably have 5 baby nurses around the clock to be human monitors.

BEDDING:

You know there will have to be a nursery fit for a prince or a princess!

Kate (if she has a princess!)¬†– This pink and gold nursery designed by Little Crown Interiors that we found on our good friend’s (and nursery experts!) site¬†Project Nursery.

¬†Kate (if she has a prince!) – We think this clean white and blue nursery would be a perfect fit for Kate’s prince.

Queen –¬† If the Queen was designing this nursery, we think this would be it whether it was a boy or girl or twins!

BABY CARRIER:

Kate is cool and funky so we could definitely see her grabbing one of the new Designer Collection ErgoBaby in the White Winter Edition. On the other hand, the Queen may have other ideas and just hire a full time “baby nurse carrier”.

¬†Queen –¬†Why would you need a baby carrier when you have a team of nannies to carry that royal babe 24 hours a day?
