Do you love to entertain friends and family? If so, you can receive free stuff to host a party in your home. Social media marketing company House Party allows you to have a party and receive free products from top brands to share with your guests. Many of these products are brand new or not even on the market yet, meaning your group will be among the first to try them! All you have to do is provide food during the party and feedback when it’s over.

Here’s how it works: Visit houseparty.com and click “Find a House Party” on the menu at the top of the page. You’ll find a list of all house parties that are open for applications. If you see a party you are interested in hosting, click on it to learn more and follow the instructions to apply. You’ll have to answer a few questions about yourself, your friends, your family, and your interests so that the company can determine whether you’d be a good fit to host the party.

If you are selected to host, you will receive an email from houseparty.com with a link to your exclusive party page. That’s where you can invite guests to your party, upload photos and videos, take polls, communicate with guests, and get access to games, printable decorations, and other fun ideas. All you have to do is host the party on the date given (or within a certain number of days of it) so that hundreds or thousands of parties for that particular brand will be going on across the country at the same time. You’ll also be given a few other requirements, like uploading photos from your party and answering questions about it.

I was recently selected to host a “Hello Pull-Ups, Goodbye Diapers” house party. I was the perfect candidate for this party because I have 2 1/2-year-old twins who are in the midst of potty training. I also have several friends who are potty training their toddlers. I received this amazing party pack:

It included two 26-packs of Pull-Ups for me to share with my friends, a basket for me to store my boys’ Pull-Ups in, and 15 goodie bags containing the following:

  • Horns to celebrate potty success
  • Progress sticker charts
  • Stickers
  • Mini books full of coupons for Pull-Ups, toddler wipes, Crayola products, and more

Not a bad deal, and what a great excuse for my boys and me to get together with some of my mommy friends and their kids!

Pull-Ups isn’t the only family-related brand to sponsor parties through House Party. Thousands of lucky parents and kids recently got to take part in American Girl Bitty Baby, LEGO DUPLO, and Mega Bloks house parties. You can apply to host a Go-GURT Kids’ Choice Awards party on March 29 or a Burt’s Bee Baby Bee party on April 26.

If grown-up parties are more your speed, there are plenty of opportunities to host bashes sponsored by top food, alcohol, clothing, beauty, and other brands. Click here to read all about past, current, and future house parties. Have fun!
