Thursday Giveaway: DRIA Covers – 2 Winners

Hey!  It’s time for another Baby Gizmo Thursday is the New Friday Giveaway!!!

We just posted our feature on the DRIA Covers this week.  Morgan (one of our fabulous Senior Editors!) loves them!   You know, it’s a stylish and chic poncho made from designer fabrics that can be worn as a pregnancy top, a nursing cover, a stroller/car seat sun shade, and it has a bunch of other fun uses too.

But we got to thinking again.  Maybe we should let a couple of our Baby Gizmo friends get to know Dria Covers and try them out for themselves?  So, of course, what does that mean?  Yep, GIVEAWAY!!

We are picking TWO winners this time to get to know DRIA Covers up close and personal.  Each winner will receive a DRIA Cover in the Bristol Pattern.

How do you enter, you ask?  It’s easy!  Plus, you have the opportunity to get two entries into the giveaway!

1)  All you have to do is leave a comment here on RatedbyMom and tell us why you should win the DRIA Cover!  That’s ONE entry!

2)  And for a SECOND entry all you have to do is leave a comment the Baby Gizmo Facebook Page!

Three winners will be chosen at random from all the comments we receive!  This is only a ONE DAY giveaway so you have until  tonight (Thursday, November 18, 2010) at 11:59pm CST to enter. (Giveaway open to US & Canadian residents! Yep, you are in this time Canada mamas!)

  1. I NEED this cover! My Bebe Au Lait and my 2 month old are not working together very well. The Dria looks like the perfect, stylish solution!

  2. I would love to give this to my friend having a baby. She just got divorced and is expecting a baby in a matter of days. I would love to give her somehting nice.

  3. I’m in desperate need of a nursing cover! My daughter is sooooo easily distracted nowadays, I need something big and this looks fantastic.

  4. I have a 5 month old and I would love this…she loves to lift my nursing cover up! Maybe this would give me the confidence to nurse outside the house again.

  5. My 6 month old can get around one of the small nursing covers and show the world what she is doing. This one looks perfect for a modest mama!

  6. I fell in love with the idea of this when I read your review the other day. I had given up hope that there is a product out there that would actually cover me while nursing my busy little gal. The versatility amazes me too! I would love to have this on my flight home to see my mother for the holidays. For the sake of the person sitting next to us on the several flights it will take to get us to Grandma’s house… Please pick me!!

  7. This cover looks great and its so versatile! (which I love) It would have came to very good use with my first child…but thats ok now since I’m expecting my second! So this is something i would really love to own.

  8. I’ve got a toddler and a nursing baby, and I think a versatile cover like this is perfect for moms on the go like me! Anything that serves more than one purpose equals less stuff for me to remember, and less to lug around. Plus, these look super cute, and new moms have style too!

  9. This would be great to cover up while nursing my 15 month old at my stepsons Jr high wrestling matches. Honestly I have never been embarrassed to nurse in public until I went to his first meet 2 days ago. Just thinking what all those pre teen boys and parents were thinking about me nursing a toddler there made me really nervous, but it was either that or listen to her scream her head off and disturb everyone. And that was only his first of the season. 🙁 Plus when I am done with it I would pass it on to my best friend who is due with her second in April. 🙂

  10. I would LOVE to win one of these. I read the article when you guys posted it and fell in love… Well as much as you can from an article and not actually seeing one in person or testing one out! I would LOVE to buy one, but my hubby thinks I’ve already spent WAY too much on baby items (which I won’t disagree with!) that he would probably have a heartattack if I tried to buy a Dria since I already have a Bebe Au Lait that I bought with my daughter. But I TOTALLY agree with the post- it does NOT offer full coverage and I am a super modest nurser-lol! Pick me, pick me!!!

  11. I would love to own this! We had such a hard time bfing with my first. Now Im pregnant with my 2nd, and Im doing everything possible to make this bfing session go off without a hitch. No reason for me to me embarrassed to BF in public!

  12. The DRIA Cover looks like an amazing product for me because it is multi-functional. It not only seems like a great baby cover while feeding, but it is fashionable to wear as an accessory, can be used carrier cover, a stroller cover, and if ever, a light blanket.

  13. When my baby was a tiny little thing the typical cover was great, but try feeding an 11 month active kid under one of those things! This cover looks perfect!

  14. I would love to have this for myself! I just had my son 3 and a half weeks ago and this would be great for traveling. We are constantly on the go with my husband in the navy and visiting family so this would help sooo much!

  15. My son is always lifting up his hooter hider, it doesn’t really do much good. After reading the review the dria cover sounds so versatile and it actually covers

  16. I would love to have this for my #2! My son nursed for 15 months, and I am hoping to do the same with this one. It would be nice to have since I know we will be on the go a lot more now, following my son to the park, museum, etc!

  17. I would love one of these! My current nursing cover always leaves my back and sides feeling exposed. I’m never quite sure how covered up I really am! Not a problem with the DRIA!

  18. Wow! I’m in love with this product! I need this now to wear as a pregnancy top in my last 6 weeks of pregnancy! When my little baby alligator makes her debut, I’ll have some much needed privacy while breast feeding and I’ll put it over her infant carrier to keep out unwanted hands!

  19. It would be a hard choice whether to keep the Dria cover for myself for baby #3 due in December or give it to my SIL who is due with baby #1 the same time. Either way, it would go to good use and looks like a great product!!

  20. When I read the review for the Dria cover on your website. I told myself I need to have one. The $50 plus price tag stop me since I already have a hooter hider. Winning one will be so awesome. I should win one because I need to stop flashing my hooters to the public.

  21. love love the oslo pattern. I have tried several different nursing covers and was very disappointed by them. Never enough coverage in the front or the back. I always felt my daughter was showing my stuff to everyone!!! this looks like it could be a winner!!! 🙂 would love to try it 🙂

  22. I would love a breastfeeding cover. for some stupid reason I cannot bring myself to breastfeeding in public (and I am 6 month in to it) I have an udder cover but it is so thin and small.. this cover looks big so I think it will help be become a little more comfortable and confident that no one will get a boob shot. (=

  23. I NEED to win one because my 2 month old is already dragging my other cover here there and everywhere when she feeds. This one would be so much better and would cover way better! Please…let me win! :o)

  24. I have an ex who comes over for visitations for my son. I need a good breastfeeding hider. Mine is too small and is just annoying these look nice and big.

  25. I am having issues with the nursing cover I am using now because my 4 month old likes to play with it while she is nursing and ends up showing everyone too much. The cover I am using now also doesn’t cover my back and it shows everything. I think the Dria would definitely alleviate both of these problems.

  26. I would love to win this! I read your review on it a couple days ago. This would be great for me as we will be traveling on an airplane next week, and I have a very squirmy little girl. Also my birthday is tomorrow…:)

  27. Wow, I have never heard of this cover… as a tall pregnant and soon to be nursing mom it looks long enough to have adequate coverage. I have a problem with that… but also being so versatile! Wow. I think I fell in LOVE!

  28. I would love to win this! Baby #2 is due soon, and I dont want any bumps in the road as far as breast feeding. We had lots of trouble last time, including feeding in public. This child deserves to be sucsessfully breastfed!

  29. I would love to win this cover!! My baby is 10 months old and is pulling everything off when we nurse. It is such a pain! I am out and about a lot, so we are often nursing in public. I would love to try this cover! Thanks, Rated by Mom!

  30. With abby number 2 due on New Year’s Eve and my son turning 3 on Dec 30th, I need all the help I can get. I would love a new cover.

  31. With baby 5 due soon, this would be great. I nursed my first two then my 6 month old twins would never latch on after 3 whole months of trying. With this baby it is what I am looking forward to the most. I miss the bonding it provides.

  32. I just put this on my Christmas List yesterday! It would be awesome to receive this for baby #3. We are so busy with the big girl activities and I REFUSE to nurse my daughter on a toilet! This would afford me the privacy to nurse in public. Thank you for a wonderful giveaway!

  33. I just put one of these on my Christmas list! It would be awesome to receive one of these for baby #3 when I am so busy with the the 2 big girls activities! What a great giveaway!!!

  34. I read the review you wrote and was thinking how I’d love one of these but I wouldn’t spend $50 on it. It’d be perfect if I won. Thanks for the giveaways and great product reviews!

  35. I would love this!! Would make feeding SO much easier with my next…wouldn’t give it up so soon as with my first 🙁 It was just so hard to feed on the go!

  36. I will use this when my 3rd baby is born in spring. i used blanket withmy last 2 and this is so much m ore stylish and will function better!

  37. Didn’t have one for baby #2 and I know my husband would love for me to have a real one instead of a blanket or napkin…. 🙂 What a great versital idea!

  38. i’d use this as a nursing cover for sure! my first child always pulled any blankets i attempted to cover us with off, so it would be great to feel like i had that added security while nursing in public places 😀 i’ve never been one to go sit in a dark corner alone.

  39. I would give this to my cousin, she is a make-up artist and just had a baby a few days ago, she is always on the go and most of the models she does make-up for don;t like the fact that she is breast feeding her daughter. This would be perfect for her, it would help hide her breast and help her relax more.

  40. omg! after reading this review I want this product soooo badly. I too had a love/hate relationship with my hooter hider. Baby 3 is due dec 6 and that means nursing everywhere with 1 & 2 busy with activities!! please please please pick this busy mommy!

  41. I am a stay at home mom breastfeeding a 7 month old, chasing after a 2 year old, and running out of space in our tiny condo. I would love something like this that does so many jobs to help me out when trying to take care of these kids and cover up while feeding the one that eats seriously every 2 hours still.
