On July 8, 2010, McNeil Consumer Health Care recalled 21 lots of over-the-counter medications being sold in the United States, Fiji, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Trinidad & Tobago, and Jamaica. These are an addition to their on-going recall which was announced on January 15, 2010, after consumer complaints of an “odd odor” which was then linked to trace amounts of a chemical known as 2,4,6-tribromoanisole (TBA).
This latest recall, among other items, involves Children’s Tylenol® Meltaways.
