A Vanity Fair Year in Review

I participated in an Ambassador Program on behalf of Influence Central for Vanity Fair Lingerie. I received product samples to facilitate my review and compensation to thank me for my participation.

When December hits, many people do “Year in Reviews” in which they look back at the year and talk about what happened and what they liked best and worst. Well, today I thought I would do a year in review about my partnership/ambassadorship with Vanity Fair. Sure, it was only half a year, but since we’ve been digging deep into Vanity Fair’s partnership with Dress For Success, their new Flattering Lift Bra and the importance of a well-fitting bra, it definitely deserves a recap post.

I have to say that the people at Vanity Fair have been a joy to work with. Before this ambassadorship, I can’t say that I paid that much attention to the real importance of having perfect-fitting undergarments. Yes, I tried to get the perfect fitting bras in the past and got remeasured every once in a while, but I didn’t really try that hard. I used to get remeasured every few years but after finding out that I was once again in the wrong bra size, it’s clearly not enough.

When I traveled to NYC to meet the Vanity Fair team in July, we talked all about how when your undergarments fit well, not only does it lift you up literally (yes, I’m talking about your breasts) but also lifts up your mood and makes you feel better about how you look. It’s true. Think about if you boobs are sagging, your bra strap hurts or you find yourself constantly re-adjusting your bra, how good do you feel? Let’s leave the constant adjusting to the boys and just get a well-fitting bra.

During this journey with Vanity Fair, I found my new favorite bra – the Flattering Lift Bra – because it does just that. It flatters and lifts. Plus, it stays put and gives support. If you are looking for a new bra, first go get measured, and then pick up one of these new Vanity Fair Flattering Lift Bras.

Another part of the ambassadorship that I really enjoyed was learning about Dress for Success®. I have to be honest, I didn’t know about this tremendous organization that supports women and I was so happy to tell you about it.

Getting a job and keeping a job isn’t always easy for everyone and Dress for Success® has made it their mission to help women across the world to achieve economic independence through support and tools to help lift them up and give them the confidence to succeed in life. They help women who are desperately searching for jobs get the professional clothes and support they need to land one — and keep it. You can find out more information on Dress for Success and their partnership with Vanity Fair at the Dress for Success Vanity Fair Website.

Overall, the ambassadorship this year was a great opportunity and one of my favorite partnerships.
