What to Expect When You’re Expecting Movie Posters Are Hilarious!

Full disclosure: The moment I heard that Lionsgate was making a movie based on the best-selling book “What to Expect When You’re Expecting”, I wanted to be in it. No really. I wanted a role! A small role or even a tiny role (not J Lo’s role or anything!)…but a role nonetheless. I even sent in an audition tape to the producers in a Huggies box! Maybe the Huggies box delivery was over-the-top?!?  Told you I WANTED TO BE IN IT!!  Who doesn’t want to rub elbows with a pregnant (fake pregnant but “pregnant” nonetheless!) Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz, and Elizabeth Banks?!? Plus, having appeared in the movie “The Wedding Planner” with Jennifer Lopez back in 2001, I thought maybe we could work together again?!?

Well, that didn’t happen. They are done filming and I didn’t get a part. 🙁 I guess that the movie didn’t need a real baby gear expert who just happens to have her Screen Actor’s Guild (SAG) card. No hard feelings because honestly it looks like it’s going to be a good, funny, relatable movie! (See, why I wanted to be IN it!!)

A few days ago, Lionsgate released a few movie posters featuring a some of the big stars of the movie.  The upcoming “What to Expect When You’re Expecting” film follows four expectant couples and stars quite a few heavy-hitters: Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz, Elizabeth Banks, Brooklyn Decker, Chris Rock, Chase Crawford, Dennis Quaid and Matthew Morrison just to name a few! The movie hits theaters on Mother’s Day – May 11, 2012!!

Here are the movie posters!  What do you think? Personally, I’d like to see at least one of the female leads look like the more average pregnant mama with fatter arms, a (temporary) double chin and a little more meat on her bones and not just a tiny, little baby bump! Just sayin’!

I am loving Cameron’s poster!  Looks like they cast her in a part that seems to fit her personality perfectly!! So funny!!

I may have been crazy horny if I looked like that when I was pregnant too!!

My favorite poster of the four!  Hilarious!!

I hope this movie is good but my first reaction when I saw these was “poor Elizabeth Banks”.

She has had a very long struggle with infertility and gone through IVF several times to be left empty handed. She wanted to be pregnant but embryos never implanted and she was quoted as saying she has a “broken belly”. She finally has a beautiful son through a gestational carrier, but this poster?!? Just makes me so sad for her when in reality she would probably give anything for that you know??
