So, along with needing to hear kind words on Mother’s Day, the special moms in your life are going to need the “goods.” I mean, of course the saying, “it’s the thought that counts,” rings true when it comes to Mother’s Day… But, gifts are great, too. Really.

Get your mom a gift this Mother’s Day! What’s that? You don’t have the money or time to spend on a fancy-smancy, personalized gift. Well, you’re in luck. I’m here to tell you that you don’t need to spend hundreds of dollars or stress yourself out making those bamboo mother nest eggs you saw on Pinterest. Check out these very affordable, stress-free, great gift ideas for Mother’s Day.

A Memory Book. Personalized gifts are an awesome way to show that you care and that you are creative and smart and just plain awesome.

Bellflower Books is an awesome company that allows you to make personalized memory books. The books are fairly priced and of great quality. Oh, and they even come with an awesome tote bag. For this Mother’s Day, Bellflower is offering a special: a Bellflower digital book for only $10.

Personalized Milestone Necklace

Red Envelope makes a super sleek sterling silver necklace that boasts a beautiful, classic, and versatile design. Pendants, featuring emerald-cut birthstones, are placed on the necklace to represent important milestones in your mom’s life (i.e., children’s birthdays, anniversary dates, etc.).

A smart phone.

Today’s smart phones offer moms all the latest tools that they need to carry on their busy lives and stay in touch with family and friends. Two of the most popular phones on the market currently are the iPhone, which retails around $400, and the Samsung Galaxy, which is priced similarly. When choosing a smart phone, think about your mom, her lifestyle, and her interests. Given that smart phones are generally on the expensive side, you may want to consider having multiple family members chip in to get mom the phone that she wants and needs.

A Trip to the Spa.

One of my favorite salon franchises is Red Door Spas by Elizabeth Arden. They are a luxury, award-winning spa offering services from Oxygen Infusion Facials to Eyebrow Threading. These salons are located throughout the United States of America. The current special running for Mother’s Day is a $30 spa card with a gift certificate or gift card purchase of $200.

A Box Set of Herbal Teas.

Drinking tea is good for your physical health and mental health. On the latter, drinking herbal tea can improve your focus, sleep, and help regulate stress. Herbal Philosophy Teas are a great company that boasts many great flavored and potent teas that can tackle everything from weight to skin troubles. The company offers a gift set that is perfect for moms. It contains six flavors of tea and a tea infuser. The set retails for $75. The teas, Feel Lite and Find Serenity, are approved for breastfeeding moms. Oh, and shipping is free in the month of April.

The important thing to remember when getting a special mom in your life a gift on Mother’s Day is going with the thing that she’ll most appreciate.  Plan ahead. Put some thought into your gift. And your mom will be forever grateful.  Really.
