Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened baking cocoa
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 cup Reese's mini Peanut Butter Cups
  • 1 cup dark Chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F
  • In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  • In another bowl, beat together the sugars, butter, and peanut butter until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the vanilla, egg, and water, then stir in the dry ingredients, blending well.
  • Stir in the mini peanut butter cups. You can also mix them in with the Kitchen Aid Mixer paddle attachment. That works too.
  • Stir in the dark chocolate chips.
  • Scoop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets with a spoon or a cookie scoop.
