Place apples in a bowl and toss with brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Melt butter in a pan and add apples cook for 10 minutes until soft.
While the apples are cooking cut out the pie crust.
Roll out the pie dough and using a small bowl cut out eight circles.
Fill each pie circle with 1 teaspoon of apple pie filling and seal the edges with a fork to close the crust.
Beat egg in separate bowl with 1 tablespoon of water to make "egg wash".
Brush dough with egg wash and bake at 375 for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
