  • 2 cups old fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup Rice Krispies
  • 1/2 cup Chex cereal
  • 1/3 cup Flaxseed
  • 1/3 cup dried cranberries
  • 2/3 cup mini M&M’s
  • 1/3 cup sunflower seeds
  • 2/3 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter


  • In a large mixing bowl combine the oats, Rice Krispies, Chex cereal, flaxseed, cranberries, M&Ms and sunflower seeds. You could always add different nuts or dried fruit as well. Trail mix means you can add what you like!
  • Heat honey and peanut butter in a microwave safe dish for 30 seconds or until softened. Pour over trail mix and mix thoroughly.
  • Transfer trail mix into a 9-inch x 13-inch baking dish. Pack down firmly.
  • Refrigerate the trail mix bars for 1 hour before cutting and serving.
