Ingredients
  

  • 1 refrigerated pizza crust
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cups blackberries separated into 1 cup and 1 cup
  • 1 cup mozzarella shredded
  • 1/2 cup parmesan shredded
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 cup pesto

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 500 degrees.
  • On a 9×12 cookie sheet or pizza pan, roll out the pizza dough. Pierce with a fork throughout and drizzle with olive oil.
  • In a small mixing bowl smash 1 cup of blackberries. Use a spatula to spread the blackberry mash all over the pizza crust … it’s a sweet sauce instead of a traditional marinara! So fancy!
  • Top the blackberry mash with red onions, mozzarella, and parmesan. Dollop pesto and ricotta, as much as you like, and sprinkle the remaining blackberries on top.
  • Bake the Blackberry Pizza for 10-15 minutes, just until the cheese starts to bubble.
  • Drizzle with balsamic or a balsamic glaze and add a sprig or two of fresh basil.
