If you haven’t heard about Amber Dusick and her blog over at www.crappypictures.com, then you have got to come out from under that rock and join the world. Amber started a blog about her day-to-day experiences with her two sons, now aged 5 and 2, using (in her words) crappy illustrations, and people loved it. Her fan base grew and grew to the point where this Los Angeles- based mom now has over 75,000 fans on her Facebook page.

Everyone can relate to her sarcastic and honest sense of humor because we all know life with kids is great, but hard. Really hard. And Amber makes it funny! The laugh-so-you-don’t-cry kind of funny.

One of my favorite posts of hers is Parenting- I Quit. This totally honest post reassured every parent that it’s normal to want to give up sometimes. But she doesn’t just talk about her children, she also talks about how a woman’s body and marriage changes after kids. These are some of my favorites because you know they’re so true!

So if you love her posts, you’re going to love her new book, Parenting: Illustrated with Crappy Pictures. It’s a light-hearted, hilarious but true read about various aspects of parenting from traveling and (not) sleeping, to poop and diapers.

She also includes 50 crappy laws of parenting, one of which is

See? We can all totally relate to her.
