Peanut Butter Banana Bites

Sharing is caring!

It continues to be hot as Hades in Chicago! Like too-hot-to-go-outside-hot! After posting about all the great no-bake desserts that are out there to make in heat waves like this yesterday, I forgot a great one. Peanut Butter Banana Bites. This is something that I make frequently because it’s just too easy yet I haven’t done a post on it. So, today is the day that I share my yummy Peanut Butter Banana Bites.  Let me tell you – kids LOVE them because they are yummy. Moms love them because they are easy-peasy!

Ingredients:

1-2 bananas (depending on how many you want)

1/2 cup melted chocolate

1/2 cup peanut butter (creamy or chunky)

Preparation:

1) Peel the banana and pop it in the freezer for an hour.

2) When the banana is mostly frozen, melt your chocolate in the microwave or in a double boiler.

3) Remove the frozen banana(s) from the freezer and cut into 1 inch chunks. Take a tsp of peanut butter and smear on the top of each banana pieces and then dip each banana/peanut butter piece into the chocolate.

4) Set the chocolate peanut butter banana bites on a wax paper covered plate or tray and return to the freezer for 15-30 minutes.

5) Enjoy.
