The Valentine’s Day countdown is on which means the Valentine DIY fairies are upon us. Or at least they’ve landed around here. When it comes to DIY though, I’m all about simple and easy. That’s why I’m a big fan of these cute lil’ baggies of fancy popcorn.
WHAT YOU NEED
- Popcorn
- Melting chocolate
- Candy hearts
- Baggies
- Stapler
- Cardstock
- Decorative clothespin
Valentine DIY Instruction
Pop your corn and spread it on a baking sheet. Melt your chocolate and drizzle it over the popcorn. Lightly toss and add in the candy hearts. Evenly spread on the baking sheet and briefly freeze to set chocolate.
Divide into baggies and add your tags with a stapler and decorative clothespin. When printing/cutting, make sure to leave a blank rectangle at the top so you can fold it over the baggie before attached. I created my tag in PicMonkey. You can whip up your own unique version or print the one below and have your child write their own name!
That’s it! That’s all you need to do to make these adorable Valentines for your child’s classmates. Don’t feel bad about making extra popcorn to save for yourself. We won’t tell!
Happy Valentine’s Day! Hope you liked this Valentine DIY.
