5 Blender Recipes That Are Delicious AND Healthy

Sharing is caring!

My husband bought me a Nutri Bullet for Christmas and we have been experimenting in the world of blending ever since. Did you know that in order to get the nutrients from 1/8 cup of flaxseed (an ingredient I always put in my drinks) you would need to eat 60 cups of broccoli and 100 slices of whole wheat bread? I don’t know about you but I’d much rather have the drink! Another great thing about blending is that kids will love it! My son has been drinking these like crazy because they are fun and delicious.

So today I want to share my top five recipes with you. I highly recommend the Nutri Bullet but any blender/mixer will work! I hope you will try them and enjoy them!

Blender Recipes

A few things to keep in mind-

-Experimenting is key. Be creative. Some of your blends may not taste as good as others. That’s okay. When you try out new recipes, decide what you like and don’t like about them and see what you can tweak about them to make them better.

-When I say “water” as an ingredient, you can put however much you would like. Always add the water last. The more water you add, the thinner your drink will be.

chia seeds

– I always add chia or flax seed to my juice because the taste is completely masked and they are very healthy for you.
-Don’t forget to add yummy ingredients like mixed greens, kale, and spinach to your lunch or dinner smoothies!

simple syrup

-If you think your drink needs a little more sweetness to it, add just a few drops of simple syrup!
