Here in the Northwest it’s back to school week! For some that’s the best news of the year, for others, a tearful goodbye. Whichever side of street you fall on it’s time to pack those lunches! So, here’s two weeks of ideas to start the school year off right!
Roll ups! The perfect sandwich alternative!
Bitty bentos that are actually feasible for the ordinary mom. I love it!

Dinner leftovers are pretty fabulous for mom and dad, so why not make an extra big batch and send some for the kiddos too?

Pizza muffins? I’d be happy to see those in my lunchbox!

Kabobs for lunch … even Dad can roll those up 🙂
Breakfast for lunch – great thinking! Add a hard boiled egg and that’s once balanced meal!

A combo of dinner leftovers and breakfast for lunch. Yum!

Tuck these quesadillas in with a side of salsa and you’ve got the veggies covered!
A spread of snacks can equal a lunch for sure!
Kiddo sushi – how adorable!
This whole lunch looks fab, but check out that smoothie pop – genius!
Well, that was 11 … just in case your kiddo has an allergy or doesn’t like one particular idea I suppose 🙂 I’d love to hear some of your most creative lunches! Toss us your ideas – let’s brainstorm together!
I’ll go first. My mama used to let me take an empty bowl, spoon, and a baggie of my fave cereal to school. I’d order milk and ta-da – cereal for lunch! With healthy sides too, of course 🙂
