Healthy Crockpot Sweet Potato Turkey Chili Recipe

It’s so COLD in so many areas of the country this week that I thought I would share one of my go-to cold winter night dinners with you! This one is so easy (CROCKPOT!) and is HEALTHY!! It’s Heathy Sweet Potato Turkey Chili and it’s delicious!

INGREDIENTS:

20 oz Ground Turkey

1/2 yellow onion (chopped)

1 yellow pepper (chopped)

1 zucchini (chopped)

1 large sweet potato (cubed and chopped)

1 1/2 tsp minced garlic

14 oz can diced tomatoes

14oz can tomato sauce

3/4 cup chicken broth

1/2 chili powder

1/2 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

DIRECTIONS:

  • Brown the ground turkey.
  • Add the ground turkey and all other ingredients into a slow cooker (Crockpot).

  • Stir.
  • Cook in slow cooker on low for 8 hours or on high for 6 hours.
  • Stir. Enjoy.
