I’ll be honest—when I first picked up the Wasoto Heated Jacket and Heated Vest, I thought they’d be just another gimmicky winter gadget destined to live in the back of the coat closet. But after a few cold mornings, a couple of outdoor chores, and a late-night football game or two, I was hooked. These things are warm, simple, and downright reliable. In fact, they’re so good that even my picky 18-year-old son—who acts like everything I own is ancient—likes to steal the vest and “borrow” the jacket whenever he heads out to watch a game. I can throw it on over a hoodie, under a coat, or just wear it on its own for those in-between temperature days. The heat panel placement is spot-on, and it gives you that cozy, all-around warmth without overheating.
