If you love Twix candy bars, you will love these Twix cookie cups. They are bite-sized treats that combine a buttery cookie crust, gooey caramel filling, and smooth chocolate topping. They are easy to make and perfect for parties, holidays, or any occasion.
Twix cookie cups are inspired by the popular candy bar that consists of a crunchy biscuit covered with caramel and chocolate. The cookie cups mimic the same flavors and textures, but in a mini muffin form. You can use store-bought or homemade ingredients to make them, depending on your preference and time.
To make Twix cookie cups, you will need a muffin pan, cooking spray, sugar cookie dough (which we will make!), caramels, heavy cream, and milk chocolate chips. You can use refrigerated cookie dough or make your own from scratch. Today, we are making our own cookie base from scratch. You can also use soft caramels or make your own caramel sauce.

CARAMEL TOPPING
6. Place the caramels and heavy cream in a microwave-safe bowl and melt in microwave 30 seconds at a time stirring in between.
7. Stir. Spoon the caramel filling into the center of each cookie cup. Refrigerate the cookie cups for about 15 minutes or until the caramel is set.
