Yep, it’s time for another parody! This time it is based on a true story with what happens to my teenage daughter when she can’t find her phone. We’d like to think this is EVERYONE when they can’t find their phone but teenage girls take everything to the next level, amIright?!?
This parody was so much fun to make because we recruited the entire family to help us in the parody. Everyone was willing and ready because the search for Savannah’s phone is pretty much a daily thing. She was a good sport poking fun at herself because she will 100% admit this is totally her!
Staying true to parody-form, we transformed Savannah into Ariana Grande with a fun white wig and cute dress. In order to fully understand some of the scenes (such as the one where she is tangled in the holiday lights in the hall and the intro), you MUST watch the original “No Tears Left to Cry” music video. It will make so much more sense after you see the original. That is actually very true on all our parodies! In order to make it a true parody, you need to reference, comment on or make fun of the original. That’s exactly what we do in our music parodies and to fully appreciate all the references, you need to see the originals.
