I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not really a “theme” girl. Well, I like simple themes – colors, infusions of a specific animal or hobby, but nothing too matchy matchy.
Now that I have both a little girl and a little boy I spend a lot of time dreaming about their big rooms … for the days when their cribs get packed up. I know that time absolutely flies with these kiddos and before I know it, we’ll be buying moving into toddler beds and then twins, maybe even bunks and planning room makeovers to embrace their personal style (and a little of mine if I get my way). Today, here’s a peek at what I’m envisioning for my little man!
My hubby is pretty handy so I could totally see up putting together a rustic pallet bed like this one from Wicker Paradise
Ooo, this bed from KidKraft is the beginning of an awesome boy’s room
Love the collage wall and the striped bedding in this room
This room rocks – and as soon as my little man is safe to be in a high bed, this will totally be another build-able option
This room makes me want to have two boys for sure
Love the pops of orange – such a great color for busy little guys
See the subtle airplane theme from Under the Sycamore‘s home tour?
I love the bold bed color , the graphic bedspread and the dark wall
So much space to play, better yet … keep it organized
A fun alternative to bunk beds
Painted dressers are such a fabulous statement piece
A room that shows off each child’s personality
Love this outdoor inspired bedding
It may be hard to convince them to stay in bed with this awesome set up
Simple but perfect from Being Brook
Have you made over your little man’s room once he graduated from his crib? What were some of the favorite elements you mixed in to showcase his personality?

I have a friend who re-did her 2 boys rooms using the wooden boat bed from Kid Kraft. It was worthy of a Pinterest pin! She's a photog too so that helped ;)
